Just the thought of Lani getting hurt puts a pain in my chest, I lost so many years with her. I remember going to the park and didn't see her, when I realized she wasn't coming back I was devastated. She has such a bright soul, I want to Shield her from any darkness that comes her way.
That darkness is Soren.
He knows it, he has too. He gave me a feeling that last night wasn't the first time seeing her, he clearly has an obsession with her. I don't blame him.
I could protect Lani, I know I can. I can keep her away from him, just the thought of him having her angers me.
I finally arrive at her house, I'm blown away by how big this house is, or should I say mansion.
So this is where she's been all these years, in this big mansion. As I arrive I notice there's a gate, I park my car and get out. I hope she's here because if not,

I press the button but I don't say anything into the mic, what do I even say anyway? If they knew who I was and why I was here they'd probably kill me on the spot.
"Christian is that you ?" I looked around quickly as I heard a voice around me, it sounded like Michael. As I look up I notice a camera. That's how he knew it was me, I wave into the camera and the gates open up.
I get back in my car and drive inside, the gates close behind me and that gives me a slight feeling of anxiety, I put my car in park and get out. Michael opens the door and walks towards me.
"What the hell are you doing here man? Do you realize where you're at ?" He warns me, at this moment I don't care about anything but Kalani's safety, and if she's here with Soren or with him at all, I need to find her.
I have strong feelings for her, I don't know if it's obvious to anyone but it's true. I would do anything for her, she's only 19 years old. She deserves to live freely, and not be scared to look over her shoulder. And that's how they make her feel. Her father should be ashamed he even allowed this.
"Kalani is missing, I need to find her." he looks at me confused and then is replaced with worry, I figure he doesn't know anything about that given his reaction.
"What do you mean she's missing ?" He asks me, so if he doesn't know where she is, that means she isn't here. Shit.
"No time to explain, let's go and find her." he nods and we head back to my car, I should've known it wouldn't be that easy to enter and leave the mansion of someone who's involved in a mafia.
"Leaving so soon ragazzo?" I turn to see an older man, who I'm assuming is Kalani's father. Great, I'm definitely fucked now. Given Kalani leaving all those years ago I'm assuming it had something to do with me and her relationship.
