20 minutes and I'm finally done getting ready.I get out the bathroom and walk out to see Soren gone, where did he go?
"Where did Leon and Soren rush off too?" Kora says entering the room,Soren left without telling me? My chest begins to feel heavy,too much has happened in the last 24 hours. He shouldn't have left, especially without me.
"What do you mean he left?" I ask with worry in my voice,I rush out the door and go down the stairs.
I get down the stairs and as I past the living room I stop, I walk back and my eyes slightly widen. It was Soren's father , what was he doing here?
"Kalani, it's good to see you again." He says getting up from his seat, I stared for a moment. I was trying to figure out why he was here, him and Soren aren't on the best of terms.
"Where's Soren ?" I immediately cut to the chase, I didn't care about the small talk. I wanted to know where my fiancé was, he must've known something on his whereabouts.
"Kalani, you should sit. I can explain everything to you." He says gently, I was growing agitated. I didn't feel like speaking to him, not after knowing he killed Soren's mother.
"Just tell me where he is, I don't care about what else you have to say." I tell him, I could tell he heard the aggression in his voice.
"I'm shocked, I didn't know you were capable of using that kind of tone." He says slowly, I stay silent for a moment. I wasn't, I never raised my voice at my elders, but something in me lately has snapped.
I was becoming less nice.
It was scaring me, but at this moment I didn't care. I wanted answers.
"I'm going to ask you again, where..is he?" I ask slowly, I walk closer as I grow more angry. Him noticing my anger he raises his hands up in surrender.
"Kalani..?" I hear Kora from behind me but I ignore her.
"He went to get Romello, your fathers men wants him dead. As he wants me dead." He tells me, my eyes widen. What? He's out there knowing he could get hurt ?
Once again it was my father who wanted to hurt others for his mistakes. How did he know? My eyes grow dark as I realize why he is probably here.
"You sent my fiancé on a mission where he could get hurt? Do you think I'm fucking stupid? That was probably your plan!" I say as I push him, I feel Kora grab me trying to hold me back.
"Of course not , I would never hurt my son like that." He says quickly, he's full of shit.
"You're lying! If anything happens to him, you're dead!" I say screaming.
"Kalani." I quickly turn when I hear his voice, Soren and Leon enter with two others who don't look familiar.
"Go upstairs, I'll be up in a minute." He says with dominance. Kora let's me go and I look at her, her eyes show something I don't recognize.
