My eyes flutter open, I look to see Soren still sleeping. I smiled softly as I looked at him, he looked so peaceful as he slept.
I was soon going to have his last name, and I was going to one day have his children. I'll tell them how much of an amazing man he is, and our crazy love story.
This was how our story was going to end, a happy ending.
Us having kids together, traveling together, growing old together, we were going to do it all,
Together.
I gently caressed his face as I observed his beautiful features. He was so handsome, how did I get so lucky? It amazes me how much he was infatuated with me for all these years, I fell for him just as hard as he fell for me.
"I love you, Soren Marino, we have all the time in the world together. I won't waste a second of it." I whisper to him, I kiss his lips softly so I don't wake him up.
I got up from the bed and walked to the door, I was starving. I had to go to the lobby with Kora to order food.
As I open the door I see Michael, I jump in surprise. What was he doing just standing outside my door?
"Damn it Michael, you almost gave me a heart attack!" I harshly whisper, I close the door gently to let Soren sleep a little more.
"I'm sorry, I was just about to knock." He says as I notice he is keeping in a laugh. I roll my eyes playfully.
"I'm getting some food, wanna come with ?" I ask him, mind as well go with him since he's already here. Kora was probably with Leon anyway.
"Yeah, but I wanted to talk to you first. Can we take a walk ?" He asks me,
"Yeah, of course." We begin to walk towards the exit of the cruise ship, we'd have to get back on soon given it's almost time to leave. I was hoping Soren didn't wake up until I came back.
He's probably going to kill me for leaving.
We got off the ship and began to walk along the path that leads to the beach, it was so beautiful here. But I was ready to arrive in Hawaii. It was dark out, we were definitely leaving in a few minutes.
"You're not mad?" He asks me, I raise my eyebrows waiting for more context. What was he talking about?
"You're not mad this is now your life? That you could've had a normal life, maybe with Christian?" I stop walking as he says that, why would he ask me that? Of course I'm not mad, I'm happy with Soren.
"Why would you ask that? I'm happy Michael, you know that." I tell him, he's my brother. Of course, he worries for me but this, he didn't need to worry at all.
"Soren put you through things you shouldn't have, why did you forget all that?" He asks me, the way he's speaking, it's like he's forcing himself to say these things.
