It's been a week in the Bahamas, and I've loved every second of it. I felt happy and pure, I felt free. It's the happiest I've been in a while.
I felt like my old self again, I felt myself slipping into the darkness because of everything that has happened. Martin has tried to turn me into the villain he wants me to be, but I won't let him.
"We're almost there." I tell him as I walk up the hill, I heard about a spot that let's you see an amazing view of Nassau, I always loved seeing the trees and the ocean. It was one of the reasons why I hated being scared of water, I loved how beautiful the ocean looked.
We finally get up the hill and I gasp at the view, I smile widely as I look around. I can feel Soren behind me, I know he's admiring me like he always does.
"It's beautiful, this view is amazing." I say mostly to myself,
"You're beautiful." I hear him say, I turn to him and see him staring at me with adoration. He walks to me and I look up at him, he puts his hand on my cheek and my eyes close in instinct.
"My sweet Angel.." he whispers, his thumb caresses my bottom lip, and it plops back in place as he moves away.
"I can't wait to be your wife," I say softly, I see the love in his eyes. I loved staring into his eyes..
I see his gentle smile appear, it was rare to see him smile. But he does it, for me.
He's done so much for me, I'm thankful for him. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for him, in a way he saved my life, I know he did.
"Fuck, I'm gonna pass out." I look behind Soren to see Leon walking up alongside Kora and Michael, I laugh at Leon's struggle to get here.
"We should get going soon, we need to get prepared for the wedding." He tells me, I nod, and as I hear the word wedding my heart flutters.
He kisses me on the forehead and he walks with Leon down the hill, giving me time to talk with Kora and Michael.
"How'd you guys enjoy the vacation?" I ask them, I'm thankful for them coming along. I asked Kora to be my maid of honor of course and Michael is one of Soren's groomsmen. I also asked Soren's maid Mira to be in my wedding, she helped me pick out my wedding dress and has been a big help.
"It was amazing, I'm just excited for the wedding now," Kora says gleaming with excitement, I couldn't help but smile at the word wedding. It was really happening in a couple of days,
I'm going to be married.
I'm going to be married to the man I love, I couldn't be more lucky.
