What in the hairy apricots was this? Malfoy asked me to stop? Stop what? What is this all about?! Is he getting bonkers?
I stared at the spot where Malfoy disappeared. I don't understand him, what does he expect of me? What do I need to stop?
When we were young we used to visit a family every Sunday that both of our families were friends with. Pure bloods always have tight bounds and so did ours. The family was called the Rosier's and sadly for them, lady Rosier was infertile. She wasn't able to conceive children.
That meant that Malfoy and I were the only children at their large house present. Every bloody Sunday afternoon! He used to trick me in all kinds of stuff. He enjoyed making me cry, locking me up in cupboards, threatening to shove spiders in my clothes and of course he'd like to push me over when he was angry. I knew later that the only reason he did that was because his parents were very strict with him. But I didn't understand that at those moments, he just was my tormenter.
Malfoy wasn't a nice kid and eventually I started to fear him. This lingered on and he loved that I was afraid of him. Well, until the day I had enough of him, and I showed him. I made him trip over vines I accidentally produced and he fell face first in to the mud. I was very proud I did something magical for the first time, but I remembered that my father was very disappointed in me that day.
My parents wanted me to be friends with Malfoy, and my father always went on about what a nice kid Malfoy was even though I hated his guts. I think he wanted me to befriend him because he was good friends with Malfoy's father. Of course that friendship originated because they happened to be both Death Eaters, and always fought together for Voldemort. Malfoy and I couldn't really do more than accept our father's faiths.
Though Malfoy never called me Elenore, always Avery. He would only call me Elenore if we were in serious trouble.
Wait a minute... Trouble? We are in trouble?!

"Ella?" Asked a worried voice far away from where I was.
"Ella are you alright?"
"Yes." Said my mouth, but I didn't feel like I was speaking at all. I was too deep in thoughts. I eventually faced Marie who stood next to me. It seemed I was sitting on the grass. How did I end back up here? Wasn't Malfoy here just yet?
"Are you sure you're alright?" She asked again. This time she sounded more clearly than she did before.
"No!" I yelled suddenly as I stood up. "Where is he?!"
"Where's who?" Said Marie who jumped at my outburst.
"Malfoy!!" I yelled. Did I hallucinate our conversation before? "Where is he?!" I repeated. "I need to talk to him!"
"Ella?" Said Marie awfully concerned as she looked me over as if I turned in to a giant spider with thirteen eyes. "What's gotten in to you?"
"Where is he!" I snapped at her and she wordlessly pointed towards the castle.
I got up and started to run towards the castle not even bothering to explain it to her. Not that I knew how, I just had this awful feeling inside of me. He never called me by my first name. And I couldn't care less about Marie right now.
"I'm deducting ten points from Slytherin for running through the hallways miss Avery!" I heard professor McGonagall yell at me. But I couldn't care about that either. The only thing I cared about was myself and how horrible as it sounds: Malfoy.
I ran until I entered the Slytherin common room. I saw Malfoy sitting in his favourite chair staring at the empty fireplace.
"Malfoy..." I panted.
