It has been four weeks, a whole month. I had locked myself in my bedroom as soon as I returned home, and all I could do was watch my necklace. The one that Malfoy gave me with the magic gem. It was continuously glowing, which meant that he kept thinking of me, that he kept wanting to be with me. And I wanted nothing more than to be with him.
Right now it was getting late, around nine o'clock or so, and downstairs were Goyle's parents, discussing my marriage with Grimy Gregory. I refused to see them, I also refused to see my own parents. I didn't contact Marie either even if she tried to owl me multiple times. She even sent her patronus, which was a beautiful fox. But I ignored it all.
I barely ate, our house elf brought me food since I barricaded myself in my room. I specifically charmed my bedroom to keep my parents out. The only one I wanted with me was Draco. It infuriated my parents that they couldn't get to me, but I didn't care.
The plate of food that Peal brought was still standing on my nightstand. The cooked potatoes got stale and the vegetables looked soggy. I didn't touch it. I didn't have an appetite, I was literally sick from heartbreak. Minutes had turned to hours, and days into weeks but I didn't have any conception of time passing, I only felt the deepest misery.
I must look like an inferius, skinny, tangled hair and bags the size of garbage bags under my eyes.
Suddenly there was a loud crack in my room and I sat up immediately. There, at my dresser was nobody else but Draco. He seemed disorientated and he grabbed my dresser for support as he swayed a little.
"Am I hallucinating?" I whispered as I rubbed in my eyes. He couldn't be here in my room now could he? Maybe I should eat more, my brain is playing tricks on me.
"El!" he yelled as soon as he noticed me. He ran towards me and embraced me tightly. I started to cry. It was him! He was here! He came for me!
"H-How are you here?" I asked as I kept on crying. The tears didn't stop I was so happy he was there.
"I turned seventeen." he said still tightly embracing me. "I've got my licence to apparate." He pulled away from me and looked me over. "You look horrible." He said worried as he cupped my face in his hand.
"Elenore!" yelled my father from downstairs. "We know someone apparated! Get down here immediately!"
Draco stiffened and he looked scared. "Grab some clothes and put them in a bag." He whispered. I didn't hesitate and quickly did as he suggested, when I finished packing I put my wand in the back pocket of my jeans. He held out his arm for me, I grabbed it and it was like someone pulled me through a tube that turned me inside out.
We apparated into a bedroom. It was a room with a dark wooden floor, silvery brocade wallpaper with dark wooden panelling and heavy green velvet curtains. In the centre was a king sized bed with black Egyptian cotton sheets.
"Where are we?" I asked as I was still holding on to him. In my left hand I was thankfully still holding my duffle bag that I hastily packed.
"In my bedroom." He said silently. He got his wand out of his pocket and started to charm the room. He put up silencing charms, non-intruder charms and some other safety charms.
I sat down on his bed and put my bag on the floor. I was hungry since I didn't eat the food our house elf brought. Just thinking about food made my stomach gurgle. Draco turned around in surprise. "Haven't you eaten?" he asked and I shook my head. "I'll call for Nobs."
"Nobs?" I said surprised. "Who's that?"
"Our house elf." explained Draco. "We've hired him since blasted Potter gave our old one a sock." I nodded at his explanation and Draco yelled for Nobs. First I was afraid someone would hear us, but then I remembered Malfoy's silencing charms. I wondered if Nobs would hear us though.
