Skye came up to Nagisa in the changing area. He glanced at the small vampire, a dusty pink to his cheeks as he took down the top half of his fighting suit. Allowing it to hang around his waist as he applied deodorant. Skye glanced again at Nagisa who was changing beside Ryu.

"You spoke of them, but not yourself." The Fae stated.

Nagisa blinked. He wasn't used to the way Fae spoke. Their pattern was always slightly off. Those who spent a lot of time with other races learned to negate this. For some reason, Skye slipped back into the pattern slightly.

"I'm not following?" Nagisa said as he pulled a mesh shirt over his tank top.

"You spoke, you're siblings are the top two in the family, but the question was, all Romanari's are impressive. Nagisa dismissed himself." The fae was getting his speech patterns all mixed up. The vampire smirked.

"Oh, you thought I was impressive, too?" he asked. Skye nodded his silver head.

"Your body, the way you moved it. Fae's eyes couldn't even follow." Skye frowned.

"Mori trained me since I was able to walk. Maybe even before then. Marcus was almost always there watching over us. In fact, some of my early memories were of Marcus training Mori and I together." Nagisa offered.

Skye hung his head. For a while he said nothing as he redressed. Then he looked back at the young vampire. He apparently got his thinking around the way he wanted.

"I am not good at judging human ages, Mori is older, but by how much?" the fae asked.

"Six years." Nagisa said as he lifted his bag to his shoulder.

Ryu fell in step with them as they began to walk out. Skye looked up to where Mori was perched in the rafters. His frown deepened. Marcus was below the vampieric dragon running through some fighting exercises with another fighter.

"Is that a..." Ryu paused as the girl they were watching suddenly burst into flames. Someone cried out upon seeing it.

"A phoenix!" Nagisa gasped.

The flames died down. There was no sign of the girl. Marcus smiled walking up to a pile of ash where his partner had been.

"I warned you about this." He said. He looked up spotting his young brother he called out.

"You got a blanket or something?" he asked.

Ryu was about to remove his shirt but Nagisa stopped him. He strolled up to his brother thrusting a scarf through the ropes. It was one that had been folded many times. Once spread out it was about the size of a picnic blanket. Marcus doubled it, then wrapped the baby inside it.

"You taking her to mom?" Nagisa asked.

"No, I will return her to her husband." Marcus smiled fondly down at the baby.

"She reminds me of Hyperion." Marcus cooed a little.

"Are you still staying at the castle?" Nagisa asked.

Marcus lifted his head to look at the boy. "Yeah, I have my own personal transport." Together they looked up to where Mori snorted.

"Go! Class is over with!" Mori yelled at their youngest brother. Laughing Nagisa waved to them.

"Are your family close?" Skye asked. Nagisa had seen he had stopped to wait for them.

"If you had asked me a month ago, I would have said no." Nagisa thought back on the dynamics of his siblings.

Mori was always following Marcus around. This was nothing new. Cami never got along with her sisters, preferring to second mother Carter, Nagisa and Collin. Then there was Ozzie and Xavier, a pair of trouble makers whenever they were together.
