There was a piercing cry. It hung heavy in the air. Collin’s frozen body thawed. This was Nagisa after all. He turned. Running forward, he dashed along the wall. He had one thought, get help. Carter would be back. Cami should be on her way to the shack. They would have back up soon. He left his cousin to his own devices, for now.

Screeching around the corner he saw a sight he wasn’t expecting. Marcus, one hand gripped around Coldar’s throat, Cami trying to claw at his wrist, while Carter stood dumbfounded holding a hand to his swollen face. Xavier was leaning against the tree Cami had been sleeping in. The vampire shook the werewolf.

“WHAT THE FUCK?” Collin yelled.

Marcus glanced over his shoulder. It didn’t look like Coldar was even trying to break free of the hold.

“Let him go, you fuck wad!” Collin snarled.

“Collin, this isn’t what it looks like.” Marcus stated in a calm tone.

“It looks like you’re trying to kill my boyfriend, while you’re bitch of a wife is kidnapping Nagisa!” Collin growled stroming forward.

“Let. Him. Go!” With the last word, he kicked out at Marcus’ knees.

Marcus dove side ways, avoiding the kick, but not letting go of the werewolf.

“Knock it off, Collin!” Marcus growled. Arms yanked Collin back. He was pinned to the tree by a pissed of half witch vampire.

“If he let’s go, Coldar will bleed to death. He was under attack when we came out. Some one slit his fucking throat! Shut the hell up, we need Nagisa!” Carter snarled.

Collin stilled. “There is a hidden hole in the castle wall. Lily is there with some monster maid. She is trying to take Nagisa into the castle. I heard them say something about needing him.”

“Let me tie this around his neck.” Cami whispered.

“It won’t do. I can’t move my hand!” Marcu insisted.

“Fine, then take him to Krystal. Go! Run!” Collin yelled.

“You need me! I’m the best fighter!” Marcus snarled.

“It appears as if we have two choices. Have Marcus let go of Coldar to fight, killing the werewolf.” A cold analytical voice spoke up. It sounded like Reginald, but when all eyes went to the speaker they were shocked to see Xavier standing there. He was impersonating his father.

“There is the chance, Collin could get ahold of the artery in time to stem the flow, but he isn’t strong enough to run with Coldar back to Krystal. The other choice is...”

“Marcus is the only one strong enough to get Coldar to Krystal. Without knowing if we can get Nagisa back, that is Coldar’s only hope right now. You can always send the dragon back.” Carter stated.

“And leave Nagisa in their hands?” Marcus growled, uncertainty.

“Mori!” Collin cried out.

“I don’t know where...” Marcus began.

“He is with Nagisa! Go! Take Coldar to Krystal. I think, Mori isn’t alone.” Collin insisted.

“You just said he was with Nagisa.” Carter pointed out.

“He means, Luce.” Marcus swung the limp body of the werewolf into his arms.

Only now did Collin see the blood coating his hand. Coldar’s eyes were closed. His chest barely moved. He didn’t have long. Marcus looked at him.

“If I go, you forget about this. He needs you. They need you, but... you get what I’m saying?” He demanded.

“You take care of Colds. I have Nags’ back.” Collin walked forward.
