"I DIDN'T HURT LUCIFER!" A voice cried out.
Nagisa looked around Ryu. The dragon was hurt, yet he wasn't letting the vampire go. His face was buried in Nagisa's shoulder. He was breathing deeply, trying to calm himslef down. Nagisa laughed.
"No, I figured that out, while in the mirror relam. You're not good enough to injury my brother." The cold way he said the last bit, had heads turning.
"Luce, did you see who it was?" Marcus asked.
The silent, dark vampire shook his head. He looked at Marcus, before simply shrugging.
"That would mean, they would have had to come up behind him." Marcus was amazed.
"Which means, grandaddy dearest has someone else who can manipulate shadows." Nagisa pointed out.
"No!" Reginald's closed fisted hand, punched the table. He pointed one long finger at the teen.
"YOU!" He snarled. "Will not go after that demon!" He growled.
"Of course I won't." Nagisa rolled his eyes.
"Well, not alone. I mean Luce will be there and if he trusts Clydesworth, than he can come." Nagisa sighed.
"NO!" Reginald growled again.
"YOU CAN'T! YOU COULDN'T EVEN SEE HIM!" Nagisa winced from yelling at his father.
"Dad, unfortunately, he is right. Nagisa, Lucifer and Clydesworth are all we have that can fight in the shadows. Not even Ozzie could find Lucifer." Marcus pointed out.
"Siris?" Reginald looked to the strawberry blond man beside him. He clutched his hand.
"I..." Siris looked around. Golden eyes glittering from the lights.
"Nagisa, give me two minutes. Then come find me." The man whispered.
Without waiting for an answer, he got up, walking out of the hall. Xavier began to count.
"One one thousand... two one thousand..." Hari slapped him.
"Now I lost count." Xavier huffed.
"Ryu, are you ok?" Nagisa asked, tapping the hand still holding him close.
It opened. "No, but go see what he is doing." Ryu hissed.
"He is hiding in the shadows, of course. He thinks he is better at it than our Lucifer. Therefore, he is testing me." Nagisa stood up.
He strolled, a bit slower, with a slight limp, toward the door. The hall light was off. Nagisa laughed. He flicked it on. The light blossomed along the white painted walls. Only a few still worked. Many were busted. In Nagisa's head, he could picture Ryu smashing people into the chilling, not caring if they hit a light.
With them out, there were more shadows. "Lucifer can do this outside, in broad daylight!" Nagisa said, as he began to walk down the hall.
"What are you playing at?" He asked.
He turned before getting to the end of the hall. Walking back the way he came, he entered the front foyer. Glancing around, he moved away from the staircase. There was a small patch of... He stopped in the center of the foyer. The door was closed. Nagisa closed his eyes.
"You have the same problem, you know." When he opened his eyes, his hand was curled around thin air.
"You still have to breath, but that was good. You don't manipulate the shadows like Luce, but the light. Interesting." Nagisa smield into the shocked face.
"Kid, you're fucking scary!" The air above his hand spoke.
Suddenly the man, Siris, reappeared. He stood with Nagisa's hand curled, lightly around his throat. Nagisa let go, wincing as the weight of his arm fell. Ryu was there next to him. Carefully, the large dragon picked him up.
