So, what's the plan?" Collin hissed.
"Save dad." Nagisa answered.
"Yeah, but ... you seriously didn't think of how?" Collin snorted.
"Hmm, knocking him over the cliff?" Nagisa shrugged.
Collin looked at him stunned. He opened and closed his mouth a few times, then chuckled.
"Yeah, we have dragons." He chuckled.
"And Luce." Nagisa smirked.
"And Mori." Collin smiled.
He reached a hand out to stop Nagisa. They were almost to the end of the trees. Collin took in the others appearance. He wore a blue button up, ripped jeans and sneakers. What Collin could see of the other teen's skin was clean.
"Shouldn't you, like prepare or something?" He asked.
Nagisa drew in a deep breath, he let it out slowly. "All witches have there limits, Cols." He offered.
"Meaning, if you use your blood magic..." Colin began.
"Then, he dies." A soft voice answered.
Collin looked up. He saw eyes that matched his own. "Mom!" His lips formed the word, but no sound escaped him.
Jessie walked up to place her hand on the boy's shoulder. Next to her stood the dark Vivian. She nodded to Nagisa. More spirits gathered around the boy
"I don't really have control over this ability, yet." He warned.
"Well, good thing you're not bringing us forward, alone." Vivan insisted.
Nagisa blinked. Who would help him? Who had the ability to... He barked out a chocked laugh. Turning he eyed the shadowed figure. It was harder to see him from here. Falling through the air had given Nagisa a distinct advantage. Yet, it had shown him where the enemy lay.
"Your drawing power from him as well?" He guessed.
"More like you are siphoning it." Jessie smiled.
"Now, let's go save that asshole." She nodded to the boy's father.
"He really did try to save you." Nagisa insisted.
"Yeah, well he still broke my sister's heart." Jessie looked back at him.
There was a fire rising in her eyes. The way she held herself. That look of mischief determination upon her face. Nagisa blinked.
"You look just like him." He gasped.
"Reginald?" Jessie looked horrified.
"No, Collin. I've seen that look on his face hundreds of times. Usually, right before we set out to do something stupid." Nagisa pointed out.
Jessie smirked. "Here's to doing something stupid!" She held her hand up as if she grasped an imaginary cup.
Nagisa tapped the back of his fingers against hers. "Here, here." He agreed.
"Save your father, I will fight beside my son." Jessie ordered.
"Don't get him killed." Nagisa commanded.
"Never." Jessie took her son's hand.
They looked at each other. Both appeared to be memerizing the other's face. Then, that same expression crossed both their faces. Half of the spirits around them appeared to follow the red haired woman. A banshee like cry departed her lips. Collin's own cry rang out, mixing with it. They rushed out of the tree line.
"Fool is going to get killed." Nagisa snorted.
He pulled the two swords from his back. One with the wand it in, the other the magical sword that Vivan once carried.
