"He said she was there, that's all I know!" Marcus' voice echoed out into the hall.

After the blood sorie, Reginald ordered his family back home. Nagisa was glad to be back at the castle, it made Moon moon's birthday party that much easier to accomplish! He was walking to the main dining room when he heard the voices, slightly raised, a bit agitated. He sighed. Working out the kinks of sleep from his joints, he made his way to the door.

"Was she alone? What is her plan?" Reginald growled.

Marcus' fist struck the table. "I don't know! He wasn't in any condition too..."

"No, she wasn't." Nagisa made his presence known by speaking up.

He walked to the buffet style set up of breakfast foods. As he loaded a plate, he talked with his back to the two men.

"Lord Ellington was with her. They tried fighting me. I went after him, leaving her to the wolves. Honestly I think I would have killed her too quickly if I went for her." He growled.

There was a soft hiss behind him. Nagisa didn't know what his brother's feelings were for his ex wife, so he ignored the noise. He moved to the meat section.

"He wipmped out. Made a boost about how he was three centuries older then me, but refused to stand and fight a mere child." Nagisa snarled.

"I could have won!" He slammed the tongs back down.

Turning he saw Marcus with a hand over his mouth. His head was dipped into his shoulder. Reginald was standing at the end of the table. One hand tented on the marble top as if to hold him up. His eyes were huge as he starred at his youngest child. Nagisa saw Marucs' shoulders shake.

"What? You don't think I could have won?" He demanded.

A part of him wanted to toss the food he had just dished up in their faces, but his stomach growled. Marcus turned his amused face to the kid. He smiled.

"No!" He shook his head.

"That's not what is so funny!" Marcus laughed a little. He turned to see the Reginald had spun, his back faced his children.

Marcus placed his hand on one side of his mouth, the one closest to his father. He leaned a bit closer to Nagisa.

"Our old man, has never had the balls to engage his father in a fight." He whispered loud enough for Reginald to hear.

"That was foolish, Nagisa!" Reginald hissed.

"Well, I got to kick him in the head and smash his nuts a little." Nagisa stated as he sat down.

Just then Ozzie, Carter, Cami and Xavier walked in.

"Whose nuts are you smashed without me?" Xavier cried rushing to his baby brother to ruffle his hair.

"Leave him be!" Mori barked strolling in between the dragon brothers.

"Yeah, if it wasn't for him, your nuts would be grounded." Ryu elbowed past Xavier to sit beside Nagisa.

"No one is going to serve you, get up and get your own food!" Carter cried.

"I will once you lot get out of the way!" Ryu yelled.

"What if I take it all?" Carter pressed.

"Just get up here, so he shuts up!" Cami pleaded forcing her twin back toward the food.

Mori and Ryu went to get plates. Wyvern now sat across from Nagisa. He gazed at the teen, a smile playing over his thin lips.

"He is really proud of you, you know that right?" he asked.
