"They don't like dogs!" Seamus' parting words rang in the sibling's ears.
Ozzie didn't hesitate, he sprang toward the sound of his wounded sibling. Nagisa and Lucifer on either side of him. The rest took off to do as they had discussed. This would be a group effort.
The trio burst through a grouping of trees. Mori was on the ground. One arm, bloody as he held it against his chest. He gripped the iron bar in his left hand eyeing the thing coming at him. Nagisa was only glad that Ryu wasn't here. See that look upon the thing pretending to be his brother, would surely fracture him.
Wyvern turned at the sound of the others approach. It squealed upon seeing Ozzie. The wolf/ vampire dove at the face of the thing. Like always, moving as a shadow to the wolf, Lucifer ducked under him. He came up, a black sword in his hands. Was that his other brother's? But it was only black due to the blood? Nagisa rolled under the duo.
His mission was to tend to Mori. He reached the injured dragon vampire. Mori didn't tear his eyes from the evil looking Wyvern. He hissed as Nagisa tried to search out the source of the blood. As his fingers found the wound, he set to patching it up. His head twisted around.
The black sword tip was poking out the front of the white robes Wyvern always wore. The things head tossed back as it screamed in pain. It flashed there stood a female Kitsune. It was young. Possible the twin to the one they had already killed. This one only had two tails.
"How is he?" the soft voice of Lucifer filtered through Nagisa's head.
"Badly wounded. Hole in his stomach." Nagisa was about to cut his own hand.
Lucifer tossed him back. "We need you strong." He insisted.
"You're a strong fighter too!" Nagisa growled.
"Yes, but that is all I can do." Lucifer informed him as he fed family blood to his injured sibling.
"You are far more valuable in a fight than just a mere warrior." He added flicking his dark hair back to eye the teen.
"Why do you think we fight to protect you so strongly? Without you, half of us would be dead by now." Lucifer pulled his wrist away as Mori slumped back against the rock.
Blood drip from Mori's chin. Nagisa quickly cleaned him up, after bandaging Lucifer's wound. A weak hand caught his.
"You are our saving grace, Nagisa." Mori muttered.
He shook himself as the blood flowed through his veins. The wound stopped bleeding. Nagisa changed the bandages. Mori stood. He twisted, flexed his body, then nodded. They were ready to rejoin the fight. Just as the four of them were about to leave the clearing, Cami staggered in clutching her side.
"Cams!" Nagisa went to lunge forward to catch the injured girl, but Ozzie knocked him back.
With a growl the werewolf stood his ground between his siblings. Cami cried out, reaching a bloody hand toward Nagisa.
"Help me, brother!" she begged.
Nagisa's entire body shook. He wanted nothing more than to give his assistance to the woman before him. Blood tears weld up in his eyes as he stood watching her. One hand clutched the fur on the back of the werewolves hind quarters.
"Cami." Nagisa whispered her name.
"These fuckers are messing with the wrong family!" A growl came from behind the girl looking at them.
In a flash there was an iron bar shoved through her chest. The real Cami stood behind her. Her face a murderous rage.
"Leave my brother alone, you bitch!" she snarled as she yanked the bar back out.
