Nagisa got to his feet. The blade was held tightly in one hand. He eyed the man before him. Although beautiful, there was asomething else hidden behind those eyes. Something, Nagisa knew, wasn't going to be easy to crack.
"I hold the blade of your former lover. I have the magic of your daughter." Nagisa spoke in a calm even voice.
The man's brow arched as he smirked at him. He shifted his stance slightly. Nagisa had seen it a million times. This man assumed he was going to fight him. Nagisa rolled his shoulders. He circled his head around his neck, lossening the tightness within his limbs.
"I'm not going to tell you who I am. I am going to say this only once. Lucifer is the name of my brother, not some fallen hero." Nagisa launched himself from the spot he had stood up, a second before the fire bolt struck.
"INSULLENT BRAT!" The man thundered.
His pale molted wings sprang out of his back. Nagisa laughed. Spinning, he kicked off of the rock formation to the right of the devil. The man spun, whipping around in the air. The blade in Nagisa's hand danced as if it had its own agenda. One wing was severed from the beasts back.
He cried out. A screaming cawing, inhuman noise. It pounded at Nagisa's temples. Yet, the child made no noise. He crouched behind a stalagmite. The black obsidian burned his shoulder slightly. He waited. Slowing his breathing. Not once did he think about the fact he was fighting the devil himself.
"You have balls, brat." Lucifer cooed.
"You don't know the half of it." That voice shocked Nagisa.
He had assumed she was still busy defending her mansion. He twisted about to see her standing near the river. Her red hair flashing with power. It was as if this place charged her some how.
"He is my pupil." Aradia stated.
"That take him, and begone" Lucifer cried.
"No!" Nagisa marched out of his hiding place.
The devil raised his hand. The spell he shot at the child was lazily knocked aside. The sword was gripped tightly in his small, but strong hand.
"I don't give a damn about you, your holy war or anything to do with what goes on up there!" Luocfer insisted.
"Why do you think I didn't ask for your help?" Nagisa tilted his head.
Lucifer jerked as if the boy had slapped him. Ariada laughed. "A child, but he never reacts the way one assumes he should. Just like you, father." She cooed.
"He attacked me in my own domain!" Lucifer sounded pouty.
"And you're pouting over it? You attacked me. I only said I wasn't calling you Lucifer, you unhinged barabairan!" Nagisa growled.
"See! What is that?" Lucifer pointed a long pale finger at the boy.
"That, dear heart, is the voice of someone who hasn't lost everything. You are unfamiliar with it, as so many of the damned seek you out only after they reach the end of everything else. He has much to fight for." Arida smirked.
"Enjoy yourselves boys, you will get along magnificently!" Her cackling laugh floated behind her, as she left.
"Wait, take him with you!" Lucifer demanded.
"Yeah, that's not happening. You will tell me how to kill that thing and get my mate back, or I become the next ruler of hell. The choice is yours." Nagisa stated.
"Kid. It isn't that easy to kill an angel, or a demon in their own world." Lucifer spread his hands out, wings flashing out behind him. Nagisa didn't react to seeing the one he cut off, back in place. The man smiled brightly as he shook them.
