They all met back up at Aradia’s house. Carter came flying in, holding a crumpled pile of cloth.
“NAGISA! CAMI’S HURT!” He screamed.
The small vampire witch darted away fromt he centaur, whose leg he had been bandaging, to catch his sister. Xavier knelt to finish tying off the bandage for the centaur. Cami was paler than normal in his arms. There was a rip in the gear she had on.
Nagisa could smell the poison, his fangs ached. Snarling, he released them as he ripped the gear from his siter’s chest. She wore a tank top under it. It was soaked in sweat, blood, and the poison. Nagisa knew there was nothing he could do out here.
“I gave her blood, but it only helped for a little bit.” Carter was babbling.
“You can’t help her.” Nagisa lifted the girl into his arms.
“Where are you...” He didn’t stick around to hear what his brother was saying. His siter was dying in his arms.
He dashed inside, bypassed Aradia, the coven of witches, even the archivists as he rushed to the small cramped room he had practically lived in as a child. The items on the table were whisked away in a flash. Nagisa placed the injured girl there.
“They dare hurt my children!” Aradia hissed as she set to work.
Things flew around their heads. Nagisa was reduced to a bystander. All he did was hold his sisters hand, along with her twin. Aradia injected something into the wound. She told Nagisa to suck out as much of the poison as he could.
“Do not swallow any of it!” She cautioned.
Nagisa did as she asked while she whipped up something to force the shaking girl to drink. The boy wasn’t even aware of how many others stood silently in the room. All eyes on the painfilled body quivering on the table. As Nagisa spat out another mouthful of poison, Aradia handed him a steaming potion.
She poured another one into the wound. Nagisa drank what she had given him an antidote, just in case he may have accidently ingested some of the poison. Aradia patched up the bubbling wound.
“She needs family blood now. Nagisa, I’m sorry, you can’t give it to her.” She told him.
Carter stood to move to his twin's head. Three hands were there first. Lucifer beat Mori and Marcus by a shadows' breath. The girl wasn’t even strong enough to suck the blood from her brothers arm. He forced it down her throat.
“Milk them!” Aradia yelled at Nagisa.
Nagisa had only known fear a handful of times in his life. None terrified him more than seeing Cami like this. He scooped up the vials his aunt thrust at him. Using his talons, he cut into Marcus first. Filling the vile with his blood. He went to Mori as Carter continued dripping blood into his sisters mouth.
Marcus passed out more viles. All of her siblings surrounded her. Everyone she yelled at, beat up, or forced to be better, slit a wound in their body to give her blood. Aradia took over, pouring it down the girl's throat. Slowly, Cami’s body relaxed. Nagisa lifted the poultice that the witch had placed over the wound.
It had been green when put on the stomach, now it was black from the poison. Nagisa sniffed the wound. He could still smell faint traces of the poison in her blood. He reached over to pick up the rest of the poultice. He pressed it gently over the wound, only after Aradia poured another mixture into the gaping hole.
“She needs to rest.” She glanced around at everyone.
“You all need to rest. I’ll have my...”
