the last week and a half have been busy. I had met all the girls after spending the day with them which meant they also met Elija and they loved him and he loved them, then we all went out drinking.

I was now back in England for the Graham Norton show that we were filming today with Leah that was going to be broadcasted on Christmas, Eli was spending the next couple of days with my grandparents since I don't want to be dragging him on and off planes since we will be doing it a lot of travelling in the next couple of months.

both me and Leah were now at the studio getting ready. I was watching Leah getting her make up done as I was sat down on my phone waiting.

"And I'm done" Leah said turning around in her chair.

"Looking good love" I said

one of the staff knocked and walked in "come on your on in ten" they said.

we both walked out and followed the staff to behind the set. we were wating for our queue and in minutes we were walking out and shaking hands with everyone, I sat down next to Leah.

"So have wither of you met anyone here" graham asked. I shook my head and Leah had met one of them at the GQ awards.

"So firstly, I want to thank you both as it hasn't been the best of years and cheering the nation up" graham said and everyone cheered.

"And it was every intense the whole of the tournament so as captain Leah what did you say to the girls in the changing rooms" he asked.

"So, I did the music I was the DJ this tournament, so I let that do the talking I mean I never said anything" she said looking at me.

"Yeah, I think who gave all the speeches I think it was like Alex, Millie and Sarina who did a lot of it you sort of went come on girls and then we were off" I said making them laugh.

"So what music was played" he asked.

"Oh, it was a range of music a lot was played and as we got more into the tournament the more songs got together and merged because people found new songs, but it was all good music" I said.

"The big song that everyone loved was ABBA we had a lot of ABBAS specifically does our mother know" Leah said.

"Can you sing it" one of them asked.

"Erm no" Leah said sassily.

"Obviously you didn't really say much was it because you didn't want to hype anyone up or" he asked.

"I think so yeah because I mean we have all worked for years for moments like winning the euros and when you get to the point of a final in your own country its more enjoying every moment sort of thing" Leah asked.

"And now you have won the euros was it what you thought about it" he asked.

"Everything and more I hope I never forget that feeling that I felt that day" Leah said.

"What about you Jae" he asked.

"yeah like Leah said it was everything and more I still watch the match over even months after and having that feeling of purity and proudness and how everything has gone big and bound because it wasn't just a trophy it like opened the gates fully of women's football to England and more are getting involved more people showing and supporting I will never forget that moment ever" I said and everyone clapped.

"And Jae you have had an emotional roller coaster of not just the summer but up until now tell us "He said, and I nodded.

"so after the Spain game the day after I got news that my brother had passed away and his girlfriend maya and at the same time I found out that my brother was going to be a dad and my little nephew was born" I said as a picture of me and Eli the day he was born and another one of me and Oskar after the Spain game and people awed.

"So, your tournament was very challenging for you how have did you overcome and end up winning and scoring that final goal finalising the euros win" he asked.

"It was difficult to say the least, but Elija was and still is amazing he is a gem and the girls whereby my side the entire way and they still are now" I said.

"And now you are a parent and are inspiring him, but you are also inspiring other children and young people from all over the world both you and all the England girls" he said.

"yeah I mean I did it with Oskar I tried to be the best big sister and inspire him to be the best he can and will do that with Elija, and not only been able to inspire the younger people in my family but around the whole world it makes my heart melt honestly I love it" I said.

we talked about everyone's experience with football, and they were all amazing stories.

"Now talking about different careers Romesh jae we have to mention this well two things we have to mention but firstly you make music and have been getting massive hits from your music how did that even come about" he asked.

"well I love music if I didn't play football I would be making music fulltime but I started writing when I was about 16 and then one thing led to another I have hundreds of songs and covers of songs ready to be put out in the world but I didn't expect it to be so massive I mean the other day was the first time I had really looked and went through everything and yeah over 3 million listens and if you know TikTok and you hear your song on there you know you have somewhat of an recognition with young people" I said.

"Hundreds of songs are you going to release them all at once what's you plan" he asked.

"I mean what my plan is that every month or two depending on everything I will bring out two albums one cover and one my own songs well that's what's going through my head if it happens then that a whole other story" I said.

"Wow parent footballer and songwriter you have a very busy life Jae, I love it" he said.

"So, I got to say it now that we have found out half the couch is an arsenal fan you announced last weeks of your departure from England after playing there for 4 years now you have signed a contract with Barcelona" he said.

"Yeh just signed for Barcelona I mean I love arsenal I'll always be a fan but Barca it's a dream watching them when I was younger, I couldn't turn it down" I said.

"It must be amazing personally I don't watch much football but watching the news you have really grown in the last year you're doing amazing" he said.

"Yeh this last year has been really weird with football I just feel so much confident and clearly it paid off" I said.

We did some more talking before the end of the interview. Once the camera cut off, we all sat there for a while still talking about everything and then one of the staff came over with my phone ring I looked and I saw a bunch of missed calls from my grandparents, lucy and Kiera and even more texts.

"What's wrong" Leah asked.

"Somethings wrong" I said standing up and taking the call.

"Hey what's the matter" I said.

"You got to come back to Spain Jae its Eli" Lucy said.
