The Quiet One

takes 13 muscles to smile

it had been a couple of day since the Norway game and we had just made it to Southampton for the match tomorrow against Northern Ireland. i was in my room doing some uni work when someone knocked on my door, i signed got up and answered the door to see Leah stood there.

"Hey what's up" i asked.

"i was hoping i could stay here tonight since we haven't had any time together in a while" she said, and she was right we haven't really spent any time together will it being so busy with training and interviews and with the lionesses live going on every day we were all running around like headless chickens.

"What about the other-" i was about to say but was cut off with her saying "having sex in a supply closet doesn't count?"

"Alright fair enough what you want to do I'm just finishing off some uni work" i said sitting on the bed and her following after me.

"Nothing you can do your work i just want to be here with you alone no distributions" she said snuggling into my side

"Sounds like a good idea" i said getting back to work.

"how's the new house coming along" she said.

"Well actually we were able to move the date up to get the keys which we got yesterday, and my grandad and dad offered to start to loft conversion that i was planning so they got workers in so and also they all want to help out so maybe i can have some peace during the holidays" i said.

"what you doing with the 2 weeks off that we have" she asked.

"we were thinking of going to Spain to see my grandparents but i don't think that will happen because i have so much going on and I've booked a bunch of concerts for me and Oskar to go to so we might have to move that trip for Christmas instead what you doing for them 2 weeks" i asked her.

"Well i just want to spend it with family i guess but and i know the girls are planning to go to Ibiza but i don't know time will tell" she said and i nodded.

"how's Leah's world other than that anything new you want to tell me." i asked.

"No nothing new everything is good" she said.

"Good how's your belly doing" i asked her.

"Today is good i don't know for tomorrow we will see" she said and i nodded. i ended up finishing my uni work that needed to be done and we decided to go for a nap which instead ended up us sleeping through the whole night.

it was the next morning and i was woken up my alarm blaring, i turned over and shut it off to see that it was half 8 i sighed and laid back down. i looked to my left and saw that Leah was still fast asleep, i got out of bed and opened the curtains and it was nice and sunny. i heard Leah stir and rolled over in bed.

i then walked back to the bed and leaned over to kiss Leah's cheek. "Come on we got to get up" i said and kissed her cheek again. she hummed and i went into the bathroom to shower and get sorted.

i walked back out of the shower in just a towel seeing Leah dressed and ready to roll.

"hey, I'm going to go back to my room to finish of getting ready ill meet you outside side my room when you're ready" she said and i nodded and kissed her lips as she walked out my room. i put on the grey lioness's tracksuit and put my shoes on then walked out my room and down the hall.

Leah's room was only about 5 doors down and when i got there i knocked on her door and she walked out looking more alive.

"Looking fresh mi amor" i said and she smiled.

we walked down to the cafeteria to see most of the girls there. i grabbed my plate of food and went through my messages on how the house is going and it seems that they are doing a good job, we haven't moved our stuff out the flat yet because we wanted to decorate the house first and then slowly move everything in and hopefully the builder would be finished with the loft conversion just at the end of august so then we could finally get everything sorted.
