*The third person pov*

as the corner was taken everyone jumped and a white shirt got the ball and it went right into the net as planned, everyone celebrated not knowing that one of their players was on the floor unconscious and in trouble.

as the celebrations happened everyone stopped after hearing the referee's whistle being blown time after time as she ran over to the goal with both England and the USA medics sprinting behind towards the injured Jae and the USA goalkeeper who was covered in blood screaming for help.

the whole stadium fell silent not one peep, it was like a slow-motion scene in an action movie as every player on both teams ran towards Jae.

the medics moved her almost lifeless body and when you saw it a large gash went across half her forehead and down across the left side of her right eye completely covered in blood as it gushed out like an episode of Grey's anatomy.

everyone gasped, looked away or broke down crying. the girls surrounded the medic team and Jae knowing that some of the crowd had the ability to see, especially when one of the medics said that they were struggling to find a pulse.

the next ten minutes were truly heartbreaking and none of the girls had witnessed an injury as indescribable as the one that had occurred right in front of them.

at this point Jae was covered in wires and had now been intubated as she wasn't breathing on her own the ambulance had pulled up and she was loaded up driving out of the stadium with blue lights and sirens.

the girls stood there in complete shock at what they had witnessed the third goal had been forgotten not realising that it was Jae who got that goal in the net and was now riding to the nearest hospital her condition being unknown.

the game went ahead the girls now playing for Jae and them all wishing that she was okay, as was everyone in the stands from the fans of both teams to the commentators, the officials, the staff of Wembley, the players on the bench and staff and finally both coaches and not to forget the people who were watching the game on TV equally concerned showing there love throughout Social media.

and then one special person in the crowd now on the way out of the hospital Leah Williamson who had Elija in her arms as they walked to the car with Leah's mum tears in their eyes completely and utterly distraught, not understanding how to process what had happened and hat was going to happen in the next couple of days or even hours at that point.
