I bolted upright, only for a horrible sharp paint to shoot up both my wrists, followed by a small crack in my right one. I fell backwards and my spine hit cold metal, sending more pain through me. I looked down at my wrists and saw that I had been bound to the metal table again. I looked around and immediately recognised the horrible white walls of the Lab. A figure in the corner of the room caught my attention and I looked over to see Bucky was standing there, though this time there was gun in his grasp. He didn't seem to notice me and I quickly looked him over, thankfully not seeing any traces of injuries on him.

I couldn't really remember what happened after HYDRA had gained control of my mind, but I knew it wouldn't have been anything good. I vaguely remembered using my fire, but that was about it, and that was all I normally remembered under mind control anyway.

I felt a dull throb from my nose and if I moved my mouth, I could feel caked on blood underneath it. My cheek also felt like it was covered in crusty blood too, but thankfully it was only a dull throb of pain that I could barely feel.

There was squeaking from a door and I looked sharply over as best as I could with the band around my neck to see Strucker appear, followed closely by Zola. Both had bandages wrapped around their hands and Zola had a large Band-Aid on his left cheek. If they had been genetically enhanced like me and Bucky, they would be able to use the healing serum, but thankfully, as far as I knew, they were human and instead had to suffer from their wounds. I smirked, despite my pain, happy that I had hurt them.

"Don't give me that look." Strucker spat, slamming the door shut with such force that some of the things on the utility table next to my bed clattered onto the floor. I immediately wiped the smirk off my face.

"You are going to be severely punished for what you did." He was fuming and fear spiked all over me and my mind imagining what torture they could inflict on me. Zola picked up something off the utility table that hadn't fallen off and pulled something out of his white Lab coat pocket. It was a small vile of the healing serum and I winced at the sight of the needle. Zola didn't even hesitate as he jabbed the needle straight into my arm and I swallowed back my cries of pain as the burning sensations filled my body. I felt wounds that I didn't even remember how I got stitch themselves together. It felt like it lasted forever, but when the pain slowly faded away and I opened my eyes, I saw that Strucker and Zola was still there. A smirk appeared on Strucker's injured face and he beckoned for Bucky, who was still leaning against the wall.

The bands around my wrists, ankles and neck suddenly unclipped and before I could even think about escaping, Bucky grabbed me by my hair and yanked me off the bed into a standing position. Pain flared through my scalp and tears streamed down my face, no longer able to be held in. Strucker and Zola walked towards the door and Bucky followed, still grasping me firmly by my hair, leaving me no choice but to stumbled unsteadily along, tears silently streaming down my cheeks.

I didn't know where we were going, the corridors to long and twisty, it would be impossible to memorize where we were going.

Zola opened up the door to a new room and Bucky shoved me inside, following close behind as the door slid shut. The room was grey in colour and in the middle of the room there was an elongated grey chair that under any other circumstances would have looked comfortable. The most unnerving thing about the chair however was the big metal clamps that were above where the head would rest. I tried to lock my knees to prevent Bucky from moving me towards it, but he just kicked the back of my knees, causing them to buckle. He forced me forward and basically threw me onto the chair. I scrambled upright but he just forced me back into the chair, Zola clipped my arms and legs to the chair.

"Thank you Soldier" Strucker said, giving Bucky a quick nod, which seemed to be his que to leave.

The machine whirred and I saw out of the corner of my eye the big metal clamps slowly make their way to where my head was. I looked fearfully over at Bucky but he was already at the door and had his back turned to me. He paused with his right hand on the door handle and, as if feeling my gaze, he looked over his shoulder a little, but didn't meet my gaze. He hesitated for a couple of seconds before opening the door and disappearing into the corridor outside. The metal clamps pressed around my forehead tightly and I clenched my teeth.
