I woke up feeling ecstatic.

I brushed my teeth, had my bath, and threw on one of my black oversized t-shirts, pairing it with my pink shorts.

I was in the mood for some Crystal-made breakfast, as it had been a while since I cooked anything. You know, being the queen and all.

So I went downstairs to the kitchen, wanting to prepare my food. I had requested the driver to get me a few items, and he did just that, so all the ingredients I needed were complete, and so were all the appliances and utensils.

I started mixing up some pancake batter. As I did so, I heard the sound of the door closing from upstairs. Seconds later, when I lifted my eyes, I saw a shirtless Nicholas coming down the stairs.

My eyes widened in surprise.

He was wearing just a black jogger pant while his upper body was naked, revealing his really fine and hard torso. For more than a second there, I got lost admiring his body before I averted my eyes and focused on my batter mix.

What the hell was he doing?

"What are you doing?" He asked me once he reached the kitchen counter where I was.

"What are you wearing? I retorted

"Nothing." he looked down at himself briefly.

"Exactly, why are you wearing nothing?" I asked him.

"Why? Does it bother you?" He asked, his eyes teasing.

"Of course not," I lied. "Why would it?"

"Well, if I were you, I would be attracted to me," he said, smiling somewhat seductively.

"Don't flatter yourself. You're not my type, " I lied again. Oh, even the heavens knew I was spitting lies. He was beginning to become everything I wanted in a man, and I hated myself for being so attracted to him.

"Your loss." he had a smug look on his face. I wondered what it felt like to be so hot and know it. I sneaked a glance at his body one more time before walking away towards the stove.

"What are you making?" He asked once again.

"Pancakes and smoothie. I was craving, " I answered, pouring my batter into the pan.

"Smoothie," he echoed. "I've never actually tried that." his words shocked me deeply.

"What? Like ever?" I asked him.

"No," he answered.

"That is crazy! What do they feed you in the palace?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

I saw him shrug and sit on one of the counter stools.

"Well, you're in luck. You're going to try a smoothie today," I announced. He just looked at me with a small smile.

I cut my bananas into sizable bits, added some milk, and a little bit of honey. Then I put them into the fruit blender and blended it till it was smooth and creamy.
