Nicholas and I decided to start going out and having casual fun since nothing else was working out.

I mean, since I couldn't bring myself to have sex with anyone, I might as well have fun before going back to the cage that was the palace.

Honestly, I was tired of everything going on, tired of trying to figure out what Nicholas was thinking or feeling.  I was done with it. I had slapped some senses back into my head, and now I was ready to move on.

Strangely enough, Nicholas was eager to tag along in any fun thing I had in mind to do. So I  suggested that we go to a cinema to watch a movie.

He found the idea of going to watch a movie with a bunch of strangers weird. His words... "Why not just watch it on your TV or computer?"

Well, I had managed to convince him that it was fun to do that, so that was what we did.
We both went to a cinema to watch a movie.

We were told that the movie that was being shown was a horror movie, and that made me super excited. I was a big-time horror movie lover. I couldn't say the same for Nicholas, though.  He seemed like he didn't like the idea.

We grabbed a big bowl of popcorn and drinks and went in to watch the movie.

During the movie, at some points, he would look at me, probably wondering why I wasn't the least scared.

He probably thought I would be one of those girls who would flinch, scream, and hide her face in their partner's clothes or hold onto them. I was the opposite of that. Scary scenes fascinated me and made me smile.

Once the movie was over, we came out of the theatre. We proceeded to order some takeouts before going back home.

"Soo?" I said, wanting to pry answers from him, "Did you like it?" I asked

"It was okay. The movie was creepy, though." he admitted, and I smiled.

"What do you normally watch then? When you go to the cinema?" I asked.

"This is my first time being in a cinema," he said.

"What?" I exclaimed, surprised at his answer. "What do you do for fun then, other than going to clubs and bars?"

"I don't really do fun," he surprised me yet again with his answer.

"So what do you do with your spare time?" I was so curious.

"I work," he simply said.

"You work? During your spare time?" That sounded absolutely ridiculous. "That is crazy."

"I like it," he said

"That sounds very depressing," I told him. "I think everyone deserves some fun in their life." he looked at me at my statement.

"There is one thing I do," he said.

"What is it? I am dying to know, " I told him truthfully.

"I'll show you tomorrow," he said, smiling at me.

The next day, Nicholas took me to a horse ranch. I didn't expect or see that coming, and trust me, a lot of things crossed my mind but never a horse ranch.
