Aly's POV

I opened my eyes and they were blinded by the light coming through the open window.

I quickly pulled the sheets over my eyes and rolled on my stomach.

The bed was really soft, but not too soft. It was high, but not too high. And it was big, but not enormous.

I hadn't even touched the floor with my feet when a lady came in.

I recognized her from.. I don't know. Yesterday? Maybe the day before?

She looked at me. 'Are you okay?'

'I'm fine.' I snitched at her and stood up from the bed.

I wasn't even on my own feet for a second before I had the feeling I was gonna pass out.

Before I could fall she caught me in her arms, just like she had done the other day.

Like a little child I held her tightly, scared to fall again.

'Don't lie to me.' She said, referring to my "I'm fine".

She held her hand on my forehead, probably checking if I had a fever or something like that.

'Where are we?' I sounded more scared than I actually felt.

'You're safe. I promise you.'

'How would you know that?' Okay, that sounded more bitchy than I intended.

'Because, young lady, you're with me right now. As long as you stay close to me, no one can hurt you.'

I swallowed. 'How? You didn't see how many there were? Are you....'

She put me on the bed with force, but kindly enough to make sure nothing bad would happen, on my back as she leaned over me. 'I told you. As long as you stay with me, you'll be safe. You get that?'

I looked at her, rolling my eyes.

She held my wrists tighter and raised her eyebrows, waiting for me to answer her question in words, this time.

'Yes, ma'am.'

'Good girl. Now stay here and I'll get you something to eat.'

'But I'm not hungry.'

'I didn't ask if you were. Now stay here.'

Before I could blink another time she had already left the room.

It was really big, I guess it was like five times my own bedroom at home.

This one had a perfect view of the woods. One side of it was all made of glass.

Another side had an enormous mirror.

And I looked like shit.

My hair was in a messy bun.

My mascara was all over my cheeks.

My cheeks were still red from sleeping for God knows how long.

My white dress hung loosely around my body.

My legs were a little dirty from running and falling while we ran back to the house the other night and I remembered falling hard on a stone causing my knee to bleed.

To my surprise there was nothing to see, not even a scar.

I heard some voices coming from the hallway.

I looked at the door but nobody came in.

As the voices slowly disappeared I took my chance and opened the door.
