I was back in the living room when Nick just walked in. Clearly he just finished doing some hunting. His clothes were covered in some blood, which made me hungry.

He took off his jacket and joined me on the couch where I was reading a book. I haven't seen Demi lately which I was relieved about. She and I had not on good terms lately and I wanted to avoid her as much as I could.

"If there is one thing you have to avoid, it is owing Ms. Lovato anything."

I glared at Nick. He took away all my space on the couch as usual. I rolled my eye at him and told him to shut up about it. "Just don't mention it again, she'll probably forget anyway if you don't make such a dig beal out of it."

He laughed at me, like he was thinking how wonderful it was he gets to decide whether you get into trouble or not.
"Yeah, don't think she will forget. Anyhow, she and the rest of us got a lot on our minds these days. But well, the last time I owed her anything.."

He had no right of speaking at this very moment. He was acting like it was all my fault but it wasn't. Before all this had happened, I called him for help. "Seriously, back off. I can't avoid these kind of consequences if you don't help me when I ask you to."

"I already told you I can't." He simply said.

"Because you were visiting your friends, I get it okay?"

"They needed me, it was important."

"Oh", I scoffed. I couldn't believe he actually fell for that, " I thought you said it was because you weren't bonded with Isabelle! What is going on with all of you? Why don't any of you ever tell me anything?" I yelled at him.

"Did you just trick me into?.. Aly, I .."

Just when I was planning on leaving, Demi's signature heels sound her presence as she enters the room. Without touching me, she pushed me back onto the couch.

"You're not leaving yet", she told me. I noticed she was all dressed in black. Usually she was only like this when she was in training, wearing all kind of dangerous weapons. It did scare me off a little but I knew she would never use that on me. Anyhow it wasn't really to my advantage now either.

"I'm not staying here. All you do is lie to me and treat me like I'm some kind of bored child who can't go outside to play. That's over now." I stood up and walked to get my jacket.

"When I tell you you're not leaving yet, you stay." She said. "I'm not going to tell you another time."

I turned back to Nick, who was still pissing me off. "What are you still doing here? Don't you have better things to do than babysitting me?As far as I'm concerned you weren't interested in my problems the first time, so why bother now?"

He grabbed me by the neck as he pushed me against the wall. "You don't want to get on my nerves today, Al. I mean it."

He walked up to me, trying to intimidate me. He should have known I knew better than to fall for that. I pushed him away, harder than I first intended to, which made him fall against the wall at the other end of the room.

"Nick, don't hurt her. We need to go back to the rest and I need her strong." Demi walked to the hallway but looking at Nick, he wasn't planning on doing the same.

"Didn't you hear her? You're just a weak little boy who has to listen to everything Demi says."

We started to fight even more before Demi easily got between us. He then angrily said, "Demi, this one I'm handling myself."

Before I had noticed it he was on top of me -again- but this time Demi left. "Then why don't you two fight this one out, and then you can come to me." She looked at me, shaking her head in disappointment, then left.
