My body was hurting me.

I am used to some pain but this was far away from normal.

I could feel my body shivering.

My legs were shaking so I had to sit down.

My body felt like it was flying while lying on the ground.

I know that makes no sense.

But that's exactly what it felt like.

I had to wait for a minute until I could see sharp again.

In the dark it was annoying. There was nothing to look at to know my eyes worked like they were supposed to.

Was she doing this to me?

Just because I won a stupid argument?

"Demi, just take me out of here already", I mumbled.

My head felt like it was going to explode.

Tears were falling down my cheeks by now.

I just laid there on the ground.

Crying.

Half-sleeping.

Mumbling.

More crying.

I had shed so much tears that my head was pounding.

"Demi. Please. I'm sorry. Just..."

It wasn't even a second later when someone stood in the door opening.

Still blinded by the darkness, my eyes couldn't make out who it was.

"It took you more than a week to say you're sorry."

Demi.

She came.

"Demi!!!"

"Stay. There. I haven't told you to leave yet." She raised her index finger and gave me a stern look.

The 'yet' gave me hope.

"You know why I am mad at you?"

I didn't move. Just stared at my fingers. There were bruises all over them.

"... because you lied to me and didn't do what I told you to."

I now looked her in the eyes.

I have been mad at her for the past days.

And I still was. But I knew fighting here wouldn't bring me anywhere good.

My eyes were filled with tears again. Not because I was sorry but because I was angry.

How could she do this to me?

I wasn't her little pet she could lock up in a cage whenever it didn't obey her.

"I... I just..."

I couldn't speak.

My voice cracked and tears were rolling.
