It was my first lesson here and I was a little nervous. A good-looking young man entered the classroom as we all widened our eyes. He was using his magic to introduce himself by letting pieces of chalk write his name and draw his face on the board which did look impressive, but I had seen more than that.
Mr. Aricson, the board read. We had been trying various spells and it wasn't going that bad so far. Luckily Lucie and I had the same schedule today so I had someone to talk to."So? You already know how to let me fly?" She walked over to me.
I giggled. "I'm not gonna try, I don't wanna hurt you."
We both smiled as we studied the book. The class had ended before we knew it and everyone quickly gathered their things and left.
While we were walking out of the classroom, Mr. Aricson stopped me. "I'd like to have a word with you, Miss Lamberts."I quickly looked at Lucie. "It's cool. I'll see you at lunch."
I smiled at her and then she left. I turned around to see magic coming my way. I quickly stopped it from attacking me by trying to catch it with my hand.
"Good work, Miss Lamberts."
I looked at him. "What is it you wanted to talk about?"
"All this potential you have that you're waisting during my lessons."
"Excuse me?"
"You're scared. I know, I can feel that. But that's no excuse to not use what you have."
There was magic coming towards me again, I could see that whatever it was, it was nothing good. I held my hand up and with that I returned that magic back towards Mr. Aricson, who caught it, just in a more elegant and relaxed way than I had done.
"Now try the spell I've learned you today. Try to lift the tables."
I stuttered, then tried to remember the spell correctly. When I finally was concentrated enough I felt my hand glowing. I watched as all the tables were now floating above the ground.
"I see someone's learning quite quickly."
"Prince, excuse me, Mr. Daniel", the teacher smiled, "isn't she a natural?" He said proudly.
"I was just walking by to check up on her."
"I think that, with some extra lessons, she would make great improvements. It's already outstanding how quickly she learns how to use her power."
I wasn't really into the idea of extra lessons but before I could decline, Daniel interrupted me.
"I think that's a wonderful idea, Mr. Aricson. Don't you agree, Miss Lamberts?" Daniel gave me a smiling look.
"Mr. Daniel, I'd love spending some extra time with Mr. Arcison to reach my full potential. It would be a shame to let any of that go to waste. After all, learning everything is exactly the reason why I'm here."
I quickly gave Daniel a smirk which he noticed. "Why don't we let the girl have her lunch and we will discuss this together?" He asked Mr. Aricson. "After all, I can need a teacher's perspective to bring out the best of our student here."
My smirk disappeared and I went downstairs, looking for Lucie who was chatting with some guys, one of them was Jason.
————When we had all finished our meals, and had discussed our first lesson, we decided to all go boxing again tonight to relax. Boxing at 7. Movie night at 10.
Lucie and I decided to go and check out the stores that were here. I was in need of some warm sweaters since the weather was getting colder fast.
