Twenty-nine

//I haven't updated in ages but here is a long chapter. Tomorrow will be my first day of college and I'm so nervous and happy about it. Hope you enjoy the new chapter ^^ xxx //

I had woken up to a bad headache. I was still feeling dizzy but breathing in some fresh air seemed to help with it.

Lucie, Alex, Jason and I were walking through the woods, heading back to the castle.

"When were you planning on completing your dare?" Jason asked.

"I'll do it tomorrow. I'm in his last class that night. It's just not that simple to get some professor fired."

"You don't have to if you don't want to", Alex argued.

"We sealed it with magic. If it doesn't happen, we don't know what will happen to us. We all know we don't want to mess with magic like this."

"Don't worry about it, Jase. I already told you, I'll do it."
"Perfect. After that, we finish our game. Tonight we're starting a new one."

"There'll be drinking involved." Alex warned me. "I've invited some of our friends from Control and Magical Ethics. We're doing spells. The defeated ones will be drinking."

I looked at Lucie and Jason who seemed excited.

"I would totally understand if you're passing this one, considering your human veins." Jason said.

"It's not the alcohol I'm worried about, considering I won't be defeated by any of you."

"Then what's stopping you?"

"Nothing, count me in."

Later that evening

We were now outside in the woods with what seemed like forty other students. It was getting noisy so Jason started to speak up.

"Witches and wizards", he said, "I welcome you all tonight. First, I'll be explaining the rules to you. After that, we're about to start."

1) No cheating. Always 1 vs. 1.
2) Juniors are starting, seniors will take the rest.
3) Losing means drinking.

"And now, you're all wondering, what is the prize?" Jason continued. "The princess, at least, for tonight."

I almost dropped my phone. "Excuse me?" I blurted.

He walked over to me, "Come on, Aly. You don't mind keeping someone company tonight just for a game, right? Are you scared now? What is the problem anyway, I thought you were so sure you would win."

I rolled my eyes. "You're out of your mind. I'm not giving myself away for one of your stupid games. The first one got me into trouble, I'm not going for more."

"Then why are you here if you don't want to be with us?"

I shot him a mad look and while doing so I changed him into a little mouse, just like last weekend. "Who wants next?"

It was when I was fighting the seniors when Alex finally had Jason turned back into his usual form.
