I haven't talked to Demi ever since she told me about Isabelle, which was only six days ago.

Actually, I haven't really spoken to anyone since that talk. The only thing I've been doing is reading the book, studying the pictures and going to the library to read even more history books. I don't think I've ever been this interested in history, it's just, I'm practically born more than two-hundred years ago. I feel like I have to act my age and be interested in boring stuff old people used to like, such as history.

Another thing that has been crossed my mind is Isabelle. My biological mother is some famous dead witch and I practically know nothing about her. Her first name and the century she lived in. That's all.

And of course, I'll be turning into a vampire, witch and a werewolf this summer, which is in like four months and to be honest, it's freaking me out.

I closed the book I was reading and went downstairs to get myself something to drink. I was just on my way back upstairs when Nick blocked my way.

How fabulous.

"What?" I snapped, when he didn't let me through.

"What's going up with the young lady?" He asked.

"I'm over two centuries old, does that sound young to you?" I said clearly not amused.

He frowned. "So you know, obviously. Demi, I assume?"

I ignored his last question and tried to walk past him, but he grabbed my arm tightly.

"You're okay?" He asked, all serious.

"Let me go", I said annoyed. I know it's not fair to be harsh to him, but I was not in a good mood.

But anyway, he didn't let me go. "Is that a yes or a no, Al?"

"I'm great. Just enjoying my last few months as a human-being. Oh, and I'm searching for my real identity, but that's just a hobby I enjoy doing."

He rolled his eye and let my arm go, thank God. "Just go back to your room. Don't shut yourself out, okay?"

"Yeah right. Bye", I had just entered my room when I noticed Demi going through my stuff on my bed.

"Enjoying what you see?" I asked, obviously a little pissed at her for violating my privacy.

"Could be better", she answered. "But seeing you improved a lot."

I rolled my eyes and closed the books she was looking at.

"You can ask me anything, you know right?" She said, sitting on my bed.

I nodded. "Yeah, I know. It's just... everything is just so overwhelming, really."

"I understand, darling, I really do. But you're not alone in this, I'm here, Nick's here. We've been through this ourselves too."

I nodded. "I know, I'm just a bit freaking out, I guess. I'm sorry, Dems. I'm really scared about the whole vampire, werewolf, witch thing. And about Isabelle. What happened with her? I still got so many questions about her. What kind of a person was she exactly? And how did she die? And what about the father of her child, who's that?" I looked at Demi.

She sighed. "You don't need to apologize for feeling that way. It's totally normal what you're feeling right now. But I can't answer your questions, I'm sorry. I have no idea."

I nodded and looked at her. "Dem?"

She put me on her lap. "Yes, baby girl?"

"Please help me get through this?"

She kissed my cheek. "Of course, sweetheart. You'll be totally fine with me and Nick here." She gave me a reassuring smile.

"Demi, I love you", I whispered. "I just..."

Before I could say something else, our lips touched.

I felt the passion inside of me, our passion.

My heart was beating like crazy.

No matter how many times we kissed, it always effected me. In a good way, of course.

"Now go to sleep, love. You're still my little girl, until you turn eighteen."

I groaned. "Fine, I can live with that." She smiled. "But don't think I'm gonna be all grown up when I'm eighteen. Royal or not, I deserve my year of going out all night getting drunk or high, or maybe just both."

Demi raised an eyebrow. "I'll just act like I didn't hear that, for now. But we will talk about that tomorrow, for sure. Now go to sleep, it's way too late already."

I got under my covers and looked at Demi. "Stay with me tonight? I don't sleep good lately" I pouted.

She was thinking but then nodded. "Oh, well, because you're such a beautiful girl." She laid down next to me in bed.

"With an even more beautiful girlfriend", I said.

She chuckled and cuddled me as I laid half on top of her with one leg all over hers. "You're not getting rid of that talk tomorrow, just so you know", she giggled.

I groaned. "Uh, fine. Well, you're still gorgeous."

I felt her lips kiss my head as I slowly drifted to sleep.

It was the first time in awhile that I was dreaming again.
