Hey guys, I'm kind of back from the death. I haven't been writing for sooo long and I'm finally picking it up. I'm in my last two months of high school right now so everything is very very stressful. I'm in the middle of an exams week. (Yeah, and that's when I decided to pick up my writing, I know.) Anyway, I wrote this chapter tonight and I hope you guys like it. I promise I will update again soon because I love writing so much more than doing my maths. All my love.

Demi's POV

It's been a few days since we practiced magic together for the first time, and there hasn't been a day she hasn't spent on reading Isabelle's spell book and try to do some simple spells.

Simple or not, she's improving her skills faster than I thought she would.

The fact that we're leaving in a short week is really driving her crazy. If it wasn't the spells we were talking about, it was our trip to California.

Nick walked into my study and looked at Aly sleeping on my sofa. She was all curled up with her hair in a messy bun what made her look adorable.

"Hey Dems", he mumbled and sat down in one of the seats in front of me. "How's our last Royal doing?"

I sighed. "Still not eating much, she's having trouble sleeping lately and I don't know how I can help her."

"Don't make her dinner yourself anymore?"

I glared at him. "Shut up. You're no better, Jonas."

He smiled. "She'll eat eventually. I think she's just really excited about next week. She hasn't spoken about anything else to me."

"I know. Let's just keep an eye on her. I don't want her to get sick or anything."

"Of course. So, wanna join me in the woods. I can really use some fresh blood."

"Fine, let's go then."

When I came back I noticed something had happened.

Alena, Evan, and Gina walked into the mansion and Nick and I appeared at the same time in front of them.

"Where have you been?" We said in unison. Normally we would have smiled but now we were both genuinely worried.

"Outside, you know, behind these thick walls in the cold air."

Nick gave me a look and we decided to drop the subject for now.

"You had fun?", Nick asked.

She just nodded and then ran to her room, Evan and Gina following closely.

"We should just let her I think. It's great that she's making friends." He stated.

"Shouldn't we be worried? What if something happens?"

"Half of the living Royals live in this house. Honey, there's nothing to worry about."
