"Thank you, young man," Krystal's father continued. "Lee Taemin has committed many terrible deeds. He has harmed numerous people. Does he think the truth can remain hidden forever? Does he believe taking lives is akin to squashing ants? As for Madame Park's case, sooner or later, the truth will surface. Taemin will reap what he has sown. I'm waiting to witness his downfall."

Yoongi was caught in a moral dilemma, unsure of what he should do next.

Yoongi had been loyal to Taemin for a considerable time, and he couldn't ignore the fact that Taemin had been facing mounting challenges recently. Despite Taemin's current position of power, Park Jimin was not someone to be underestimated, especially with the Manobal and Jeon families supporting him.

Ever since Jeon Jungkook and Lisa's engagement, they had gained significant influence, even to the point of pressuring Jeon Wonwoo into difficult situations. Could Taemin maintain his current dominance?

These thoughts had never crossed Yoongi's mind before, but Krystal's father's words now made him seriously contemplate his own future prospects. Shouldn't he be considering what lies ahead for himself?

While lost in contemplation, Yoongi watched as Krystal's father finished the wine and eventually dozed off on the sofa. Despite tapping his shoulder, Krystal's father didn't stir; he seemed deep in slumber. Yoongi leaned back and gazed at the ceiling, his thoughts consumed by the dilemma he faced.

Hours passed, and as the night grew later, Yoongi remained seated, grappling with the weight of Taemin's ultimatum. He had been given just one day to carry out a task he found morally challenging.

Eventually, Yoongi checked his watch, closed his eyes briefly, and sent a message on his phone. He then located more bottles of wine, downing them one by one as he sat on the sofa, drowning his sorrows.

Outside, there was movement, but Yoongi, aware but unmoving, didn't react.

The following morning, when Yoongi woke up, he found Krystal's father gone, leaving behind only empty bottles strewn across the carpet and coffee tables.

Krystal's father hadn't expected to be reunited with his wife and daughter. When he regained consciousness, he was in the hospital, with his wife by his side, tenderly wiping his sweat. Emotionally, she said, "You're awake."

Krystal's father was bewildered. He had expected Yoongi to carry out Taemin's order to kill him. How was he back now?

"Taehyung found you. How could you get so drunk?" his wife asked.

Taehyung was also in the room. Krystal's father noticed his daughter, sitting on the bed with her legs encased in gypsum. He asked, "Krystal, what happened?"

"It's a long story. I'll explain later. How are you feeling? Are you all right?" Krystal inquired.

"I'm fine," her father replied with a sense of relief at being reunited with his family. "Taehyungie, thank you. Taemin had already ordered someone to kill me. I didn't expect to see all of you again. Oh, and Krystal, did you have an abortion?"

Krystal's mother clarified, "This foolish girl wanted to die alongside that deranged man. Fortunately, both of them are okay now. But Taemin is furious because their child is dead."

Krystal's father nodded in understanding. He had been through a traumatic experience, and Krystal's mother decided it wasn't the right time to reveal the full truth. The important thing was that he had returned home safely.

After Yoongi left the room, he felt dizzy from the excessive drinking. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he reached for his phone to called Taemin and informed him that Jimin had found Krystal's father and taken him away.

Yoongi knew that Taemin might have doubts about the situation, but he felt he had no other choice. He didn't want the burden of carrying out a murder on his conscience.

Yoongi anticipated that, at worst, Taemin would lose trust in him but wouldn't take any harmful actions without concrete evidence. After all, Yoongi had been a loyal ally for many years and had provided significant assistance.

As he was about to call Taemin, his phone rang, and it was his sister on the line. Her voice was trembling with tears as she cried out, "Oppa, please help me! Hurry, please help me!"

"So Dam, what happened?" Yoongi asked with concern as he heard his sister's distressed voice.

"Oppa..." Her voice trailed off, and the call abruptly ended. Panic welled up inside Yoongi as he repeatedly tried calling her back, but her phone was turned off.

Realizing that something was terribly wrong, Yoongi wasted no time and drove to her school. He learned that she had a specialized course that morning but had failed to attend, which was highly unusual for her. The sense of dread intensified as he couldn't find any sign of her at her usual haunts.

For hours, Yoongi tirelessly searched for his sister, growing increasingly anxious. Finally, his phone rang, and he answered it, desperately hoping for information about her whereabouts.

Yoongi cautiously entered the hotel room, his heart pounding with worry for his sister: "So Dam?"

As he stepped inside, his eyes fell upon a pile of women's clothes and underwear scattered on the carpet. But there was no sign of his sister on the bed. Panic gripped him as he rushed to open the bathroom door and found So Dam inside, holding a knife, her wrist perilously close to being sliced.

"Min So Dam!" Yoongi cried out in alarm, swiftly grabbing the knife from her trembling hand. He needed to know who had done this to her.
