Before the doctor could finish her sentence, Krystal's body began to tremble uncontrollably, and then, to everyone's shock, she fainted.

Panicking, Y/N called out, "Krystal!"

The doctor, caught off guard by Krystal's sudden collapse, swiftly moved to support her, helping her into a nearby chair. She then urgently instructed the nurse to leave the room and call for assistance, recognizing the need for immediate medical attention in this unexpected and critical moment.

Krystal was eventually transferred to the sick room, and Y/N decided to call Jimin, seeking his presence and advice. Uncertain about what had just transpired with Krystal, they refrained from contacting Taehyung or Krystal's parents until they had a clearer understanding of the situation.

While the doctor conducted a thorough examination of Krystal's condition, Y/N approached her with a deep sense of concern. "Doctor, can you please tell me what happened to my friend?" she inquired, her voice tinged with worry.

The doctor sighed, her expression conveying the gravity of the situation. She shook her head sadly and explained, "Your friend is not in good health. She's suffering from undernutrition, which is quite severe. I had intended to discuss this with her, but I didn't anticipate her fainting so suddenly..."

Y/N absorbed the doctor's words, her anxiety mounting. She nodded in agreement and replied, "We'll take good care of her. This can't continue like this."

After the doctor departed, Y/N turned to Jimin, a plea in her eyes. "Could you please help me get something for her to eat?" she requested. "But please, don't inform Taehyung about this just yet. I have a feeling it's not a simple matter."

Jimin nodded understandingly and took his car keys before leaving the room to fetch some food.

Back in the sick room, Y/N busied herself by boiling water and preparing for Krystal's return to consciousness. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Krystal stirred, her eyelids fluttering open. Her first gaze landed on Y/N, and the unspoken concern between them hung in the air.

Helping Krystal sit up, Y/N looked at her with deep concern etched on her face. "How are you feeling now? Are you better? Should I call the doctor?" she inquired, her voice filled with worry.

Krystal, still visibly pale, gently shook her head in response. "No need," she managed to say weakly. "I'm okay."

Y/N took a seat nearby, her eyes never leaving Krystal. She approached the sensitive topic with caution, her voice trembling slightly. "Krystal, whose baby is it?"

Krystal hesitated for a moment, then decided there was no point in hiding the truth any longer. "It's Lee Taemin's," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

The revelation didn't come as a shock to Y/N, given Krystal's previous responses. She nodded slowly, her concern for her friend deepening. "Can you tell me what happened, Krystal?" she asked gently.

Krystal looked at her and began to recount the events of the past month in a straightforward manner. "I slept through the entire day," she started. "That night, we had dinner together with you and the others. On our way home, we passed by the pharmacy, and it suddenly hit me that I had forgotten to take my contraceptive. I rushed inside and took it, but... I still ended up getting pregnant."

Y/N gripped Krystal's hand tightly, her heart aching for her friend. The weight of the situation hung heavily in the air, and she knew that Krystal was facing an incredibly challenging and unexpected journey ahead.

Y/N couldn't help but berate herself for not recognizing the signs of Krystal's distress earlier, given her recent unusual behavior. She felt a pang of guilt for not realizing that something was amiss with her friend.

"Krystal, about this baby..." Y/N began cautiously, her voice filled with concern.

Krystal, her face still buried in her hands, interrupted, her voice resolute, "Of course, I want to abort it."

When Krystal finally lowered her hands, Y/N couldn't help but notice the telltale redness in her eyes, evidence of the emotional turmoil she was enduring.

Understanding the gravity of the situation and the delicate nature of Krystal's request, Y/N nodded empathetically. "Krystal, you don't have to worry," she assured her gently. "I won't tell your parents, especially not Taehyung."

Y/N recognized the importance of preserving Krystal's privacy and sparing her loved ones from unnecessary worry. She couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if she hadn't run into Krystal today – how much more emotional burden would her friend have had to bear in silence?

After a brief wait, Jimin returned with take-away food, a steaming bowl of samgyetang in hand. Y/N couldn't help but feel concerned about Krystal's waning appetite, but the doctor's words had underscored the importance of nourishing her body, given her current condition.

Y/N took the bowl from Jimin and gently offered it to Krystal, her eyes filled with worry. "Please try to eat a bit," she implored.

Krystal hesitated, initially reluctant to accept the food. She had hoped that only Y/N would be privy to her situation, but now that Park Jimin was also aware, she felt a wave of anxiety wash over her.

Y/N, sensing her unease, reassured her, "He won't say anything, Krystal. You don't need to worry."

With a hesitant nod, Krystal finally took the bowl and began to eat the food that Jimin had brought. It was a small but significant step towards regaining her strength.

Y/N, noticing Krystal beginning to eat, stood up and approached Jimin. "Thank you for coming," she said appreciatively. "You can go now. I'll stay here and keep her company."

Jimin agreed, offering his support. "Alright, I'll head to the office for now. I'll come back to pick you up after work," he promised.

"Okay," Y/N replied, grateful for his assistance during this difficult time.

Once Krystal had regained her composure and her emotions had settled, she wasted no time and promptly headed to the doctor's office to discuss the matter of abortion. The urgency in her step mirrored the weight of her decision.

The doctor, taken aback by Krystal's request, inquired with genuine concern, "Why do you not wish to proceed with this pregnancy, Ms. Jung? I've noticed that you've had an abortion before, am I correct? Your previous pregnancy was already five months, and you underwent an induced labor surgery to terminate it, isn't that so?"

Krystal nodded in acknowledgment of her past experience.
