"So, what's your plan?" asked Annie eagerly, looking between the brothers.

They all had sat around a small four-seat dining table in front of the small kitchen in Sarah's flat. Now after a very delicious dinner, the brothers seemed more relaxed. Sarah was serving them cake with tea and was listening to them silently.

"Have you met someone who can help us?" asked Annie again, hoping to have more information. "Please tell me you will come back by the end of the week."

"It's not as easy, sweetheart." sighed Aiden and rubbed his face. "We went to every law firm and lawyer that you can imagine. None of them was ready to help. Everyone rejected us, telling us to come when we had strong evidence that David had not signed the papers willingly. Thank you, Sarah."

Sarah nodded and smiled at him as she placed a cup of tea in front of him.

"But, this is ridiculous." exclaimed Annie angrily. "Nobody in their right mind will sign those documents. Surely ..."

"Here."

David opened his eyes. His attention went from Annie's ramble to Sarah who was standing beside him now. His stiff body instantly relaxed as he caught a whiff of her flowery scent. He watched as she placed a cup of tea in front of him and mumbled a thank you.

"And take this as well." said Sarah and placed a pill beside his cup. She smiled at him making his traitorous body and mind relax even more. "You clearly have a headache again. Your eyes are a bit red. The pill will help you."

Aiden and Annie were in a heated argument, completely ignoring Sarah and David.

"Thank you for everything, Sarah." sighed David. "You are a great help. I don't know how to thank you."

"You're welcome." replied Sarah softly and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder and squeezed it. "We are humans. We should help each other. It's my honor to be a help."

David forced a half smile for a second when he glanced at her and then gratefully grabbed the pill and swallowed it with the tea. She sat beside him on her seat and began to sip her tea and once again focused on the other two talking people in the room.

"I don't know, Annie bee." Sighed Aiden and looked at his brother for help. "At this point, I have no clue what to do."

"We need a rise." said David. His deep voice was stern and he was staring at the table with a hard face.

"A what?" asked Aiden confused.

"It's obvious we can't fight Shepherd with our hands empty." explained David as everyone listened to him carefully. "If we continue like this we will lose the money we have right now to the last penny and we will still remain on the loser's side."

"So what?" scoffed Aiden and crossed his arms over his chest. He was clearly frustrated. "We sat and watch that fucker take our everything."

"No, we will not sit idle." answered David and leaned back into his seat. "We need power. Enough power to be able to challenge Shepherd. Right now he has everyone wrapped around his fingers and apparently is using OUR money to silence and buy everyone to turn them against us."

He clenched his fist, cursing and killing Shepherd in his mind over and over in different ways. He closed his eyes for a second and clenched his jaw to calm himself before continuing again.

"Whatever we do right now is useless. He will use his newfound money and power against us. So we need to go into shadows for a while and gain back our feet. We will gain the power we need."

"That's wise." nodded Sarah, making the other three snap their eyes to her who was silent to that moment. She took her eyes from her cup of tea and glanced at David with her eyes bright with admiration. "You had a fall and now you need a rise."
