Sarah was still tied up to the chair. She didn't know how long had passed. Everyone had left after David's call and Sarah assumed it had been a few hours.

Her head was pounding and her throat was parched. But her most important worry was Daisy who had become so fussy. She was surely hungry or needed her diaper to be changed. She was whining and occasionally crying, still hugging Sarah's leg.

Sarah was doing her best to calm her down by cooing at her and trying to make sure Daisy could see her face most of the time. But keeping her head down and stretching her body to look down had made her whole body ache and her head pound harder.

Sarah's eyes snapped up at the door as she heard it open. Her eyes narrowed the moment she saw who entered the room.

It was Catherine who sneaked into the room and closed the door behind her quickly and in her hand was Daisy's bottle filled with milk.

The two women locked eyes for a moment before Catherine broke the eye contact and cast her eyes down at Sarah's feet and her face softened as she began to walk toward Daisy.

Sarah watched Catherine's every move with narrowed eyes. But Catherine's eyes were glued to her baby with different emotions swirling in her eyes.

She knelt and picked Daisy from her car seat, wiping tears and snot from her small face using a tissue.

"Hi, Baby." she whispered, smiling slightly and clutching Daisy to her chest before pulling back. "You have grown up so much."

She kissed her forehead before running a hand on her head.

Daisy watched her curiously, momentarily forgetting her discomfort.

Catherine then stood, walked to a chair in a corner, and began to feed Daisy with the bottle.

The baby quickly latched onto her bottle and grabbed it with both of her small hands, making her true mother smile down at her.

Sarah watched the scene with her brows furrowed, but didn't say anything in fear of Catherine stopping what she was doing. At the moment Daisy's wellbeing was the most important thing for her.

It was silent for a few minutes and the only sound was Daisy's sucking on her bottle.

Catherine pulled the bottle away when it was empty. "Are you full?" she cooed, tickling Daisy's stomach.

Her actions were making Sarah extremely confused. She didn't want her baby a few months ago. What has changed suddenly?

Daisy looked up at Catherine for a moment before she tilted her head toward Sarah and made grabby hands again. Her bottom lip quivering. "Mamma!" she cried.

Anger filled Catherine's eyes and they snapped to Sarah as she stood up, still holding Daisy tightly.

"You mother fucking bitch!" she seethed. "You stole both my baby and my man from me."

"You are delusional, aren't you?" scoffed Sarah, rolling her eyes. "For your information, I met Your man and your baby after you had thrown them away like trash, telling them that you don't want them. You said you don't want your baby, that she is a burden you never wanted."

Catherine's nostrils flared, her delicate body shaking with fury as she kept eye contact with Sarah, but didn't say anything.

Using the moment, Sarah tried to wiggle a bit. "But it's not too late to do something, Sanders." she said, her eyes softening and her tone pleading. "I'm not telling you to save me. It seems you care for your baby. Just take Daisy and leave here. Go somewhere far and call the police. Save both your baby and help David as well."
