After I got back to New York, I let my parents know and that was all. I focused on my lessons and that was it. I didn't make plans anymore but it was nice knowing Sofi and Drew still wanted to hang out and even though I tried keeping my mind off what happened before I returned here, there was always that constant reminder of that day whenever I seen his name pop up on my laptop when he wanted to video chat but I never responded.

Sofi and Drew decided to spend the night and I answered the call but it turned out that he only wanted to show me what I was missing and I seen him making out with another female and immediately broke down crying which got the Sofi and Drew's attention and they seen what I was upset about before ending the call.

I felt them both holding me while I sat down on the floor bawling my eyes out, I wanted him to move on as if we never met but seeing him with someone else broke my heart all over again.

Sofi: you don't deserve to be treated that way...

Drew: he is a asshole for doing that to you, he could have been man enough to tell you instead of calling you while he made out with whoever she is.

Kaia: before I left my parent's home, the last thing I said to him was that I wanted him to move on with his life.

Sofi: whether or not you told him to move on with his life, that was not the way to let you know that he has moved on.

Drew: Sofi is right, he could have told you that he found someone without doing all that and upsetting you.

Sofi: what happened between you two while you were there visiting your parents?

Kaia: not much happened, we hardly spoke but argued twice and I gave myself to him.

Sofi: he took the most important thing to a person and has the audacity to make out chick over a video call? He really is an inconsiderate prick...

Drew: don't worry about him, you'll find someone and you can do the same thing he did.

Sofi: I don't think stooping to his level is going to help the situation but you should move on. How about your comedian friend? He's cute, let him you're back home and you want to see him...

Kaia: I'm not going to do him that way.

Drew: and why not? You deserve to be happy.

Kaia: because he's in a relationship and even if Ineanted to hook up with him, I'm 17 and he's 21.

Sofi: well don't you worry we will help you find someone that is closer to your age...

Kaia: thank you both for getting my mind off of what happened.

Sofi: what kind of friends would we be if we let you cry?

I smiled to myself and locked my front door after they left and headed to bed.
