Two years passed since I last seen her, I tried contacting her to apologize for how I acted that night but she didn't have the same number as she had before. She softly sighed when she seen me and begun walking away from me but I gently grabbed her arm and made her turn to look at me again...
Jaxx: Kaia please hear me out.
Kaia: I have nothing to say to you...
She pulled away from me and walked in the direction she was before but suddenly stopped when I said what I wanted her to know...
Jaxx: I'm sorry for how I acted before...
I watched as she immediately started walking back my direction and looked me dead in my eyes...
Kaia: I stopped seeing my parents on account of you and you're sorry? My dad passed away and I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to him because I didn't want to see you again...
Jaxx: I should have never said those things to you, I was wrong...
Kaia: sorry doesn't bring my dad back Jaxx, I went looking for you even though my dad was against it and you thank me by telling me that I shouldn't have returned home?
Jaxx: I know I can't go back to the past but I can make it up to you...
Kaia: I don't want you to do a damn thing for me except staying away from me.
I watched as she walked away from me and leave with her friends. I knew that I hurt her but I didn't know how she felt until now, I headed home and called my dad and checked on him and mom.

Jaxx: hi dad...
Jake: how is the city treating you?
Jaxx: it was great until...
Jake: I take you ran into her... how is she doing?
Jaxx: I didn't get a chance to ask her that, she's still upset with me...
Jake: well how did you think she would react? You did tell her that she shouldn't have come back to the very place she grew up at, the important thing is that you apologized for your behavior and that you thanked her for saving your life.
Jaxx: I apologized for how I acted but she didn't give me a chance to thank her for saving my life.
Jake: give her space to think, she'll eventually come around...
Jaxx: I don't know dad, she is pretty upset with me. She told me to stay away from her...
