It had been two months since Kaia left this place and it wasn't the same without her, the days seemed longer and I felt like a part of me was missing, I haven't spoken with her in three days and I worried about her.
My dad noticed that I have been distracted after my mother said something to him about my behavior and he decided to talk with me about it while we were hunting.
Jake: your mother is worried about you, what's going on with you?
Jaxx: it just seems different since she left...
Jake: have you spoke with her father about this?
Jaxx: about what?
Jake: I was your age once, I can tell that you care for Kaia more than a friend...
Jaxx: I wanted to tell her that day we last spent time alone but I didn't want her feeling like I wanted to keep her from leaving.
Jake: because you love her...
Jaxx: how did you know mom was the one for you?
Jake: I didn't know it at first but she showed me that she cared about me and one thing led to another so we got married and you come along. It's not exactly knowing if someone is meant for you by feeling it but showing it.
Jaxx: yeah but what if she doesn't feel the same way as I do?
Jake: she might reject her feelings at first but if she feels like you do for her then she will realize who she wants to be with, just don't push her away son, your time will come just be patient with her and you'll see...
Jaxx: she will be home in a couple of weeks...
Jake: we should have a homecoming feast for her...
Jaxx: I think she will like that...
