A month passed since Matt stormed out of my house that morning, Sofi come with me while I was on tour so I wouldn't be alone, I hadn't spoken to anyone else but her and my mom since they knew what was going on with me. I was sitting on the bus while I stared at my phone screen and decided to text both Jaxx and Matt in a group message before I had to go on stage...
I know this isn't what either of you probably want me to do but as of now I'm going to work on myself instead of worrying about being in a relationship with someone, I hope you both can understand...
I put my phone on the table and heard Sofi telling me that I was needed on stage, I stepped off the tour bus and she immediately started making sure my makeup looked good before I was escorted to the stage. After the show was over one of the security guards walked with me back to the bus. I seen Sofi sitting on my bed and I quickly joined her after I grabbed my phone...
I didn't receive any texts back from them but after Sofi and I was in bed, I heard my phone vibrate against the little tray that I put it on every night so it could charge.
I immediately looked at the messages and seen them going back and forth with each other while they argued and was about to get them to stop fussing when I got a video request from Jaxx. I groaned in disgust before accepting the request and seen how upset he looked...
Kaia: what do you want Jaxx?
Jaxx: why would you send that text?
Kaia: because I don't want you and him fighting over me if I chose to be with one of you.
Jaxx: I love you Kaia and you want to throw it all away because you feel that way?
Kaia: I don't feel that way Jaxx, look at you two texting each other and arguing over a decision I made. I want to be sure the decision I make is the right one before I choose to date either one of you...
He ended the call after I told him that and I was about to go back to sleep when Matt called me, I answered quickly and heard the nervousness in his voice...
Matt: is what you said true?
Kaia: yes...
Matt: I thought we could work things out between us.
Kaia: I just don't want you and him fighting over me...
Matt: I was prepared to spend the rest of my life with you...
Kaia: I know but I didn't want what you and I have going ruin my friendship with him...
Matt: I understand...
Kaia: I really am sorry Matt but this is the way things have to be until I am ready to choose you or him...
Matt: I will always be here for you Kaia...
Kaia: I will always be here for you too...
Matt: I will let you go so you can get some rest, good night beautiful...
Kaia: good night handsome...
I ended the phone call and put it back on charge, I tried going to sleep but my brain wouldn't shut down from the thoughts that were racing through my mind...
