After I got to her house, I noticed the empty wine bottles and knew immediately that she must have been worried about what she told me about, I knew she only drank whenever she was celebrating or worried about things.
I headed up to her bedroom and looked around for her but I heard the shower running so I decided to wait for her downstairs after I cleaned the kitchen that way she wouldn't worry about dealing with it, I was about to start dinner when I seen her coming down stairs with a towel wrapped around her body...
Kaia: I didn't realize, you were here. When did you get back?
Matt: I got back at five this morning, I would have been here sooner but I needed some rest first... how are you feeling?
Kaia: I'm still unsure about things...
I was about to say something when I seen a puppy coming downstairs...
Matt: when did you get a puppy?
Kaia: I got him from the friend I told you about...
Matt: I see, so the puppy is yours now?
Kaia: yeah...
Matt: so tell me about this friend of yours...
She explained everything leading up to him kissing her after he brought her the puppy...
Matt: I'm not understanding why he decided to settle for you if he knew you we were together...
Kaia: I don't understand it either but he will fight for something that he has his eyes on.
Matt: well there's a decision to be made Kaia
Kaia: I know but, I can't promise he won't stop coming around. We've been friends since we were kids...
Matt: it seems like you already made a decision, I'm out of here...
Kaia: what? No, it's not like that Matt I...
Matt: you what Kaia...? I don't want to be with someone that I will have to share with another guy...
I stormed out of her house and drove back to mine...
