The boys come back from the house with the same weird looks on their faces. I gently nudge Carlisle who I know wont want to still be actively crying when they get into the car. "They're coming back. Looks like they might have something too."

He sits up and wipes his face. Virtue of being a vampire his eyes aren't puffy or red so besides some dark spots on my shirt there's virtually no evidence he was crying in the first place.

"Find anything?" I ask as soon as the boys open the doors.

Dean glances at Same who shakes his head slightly. I don't let on that I saw anything when they Dean grunts out a quick no and starts the car. I know he's lying but it's not worth pushing right now. Whatever it was they found doesn't really matter. I fully plan on going down to the station to talk to the police there when we're done for the day. They might have fake badges and nice suits but I have a real badge and I know how to talk to people. The boys are good but they aren't cops and sometimes that shows.

The boys go back to the motel for dinner and showers and I make sure Carlisle is doing ok in out room before heading to the station. It's about as busy as the Forks station, which is to say not very. I chat with the receptionist for a while about this and that before pulling out my badge and asking to talk to a deputy.

I get to talk to a young woman who is very obviously the newbie but I don't really care. It honestly works in my favor because she's more likely to spill something a more seasoned officer wouldn't, or so I thought. As it turns out Officer stone is new enough that she is tight lipped about everything, even commonly known town history.

After the fifth "I'm sorry sheriff but I'm really not at liberty to say." I give up and go back to the motel.

The first thing I notice is that the impala is gone and there is a note taped to my door. I rip it off and skim before running back the way I came. It said:

Charlie,

The boys got a call that the house burned down. we went to see if there were any clues left. If you get this before we're back come find us. Moving on soon.

Carlisle

I run up to the house panting not that there's much left anymore. Sam and Dean are talking to the sheriff and actually seem to be getting somewhere annoyingly. Carlisle is standing behind them looking uncomfortable. I take a stabilizing breath and walk up, putting one hand on Carlisle's lower back. "How's it going?" I whisper to Carlisle.

" Not good." He whispers back. "They didn't find anything in the house. All there seems to be are the remains of a woman. The rest of the family made it out, but similar to what happened to Jesper and the boy's mother he only made one kill. The baby did have blood on its cheek, presumably from the demon.

"Than you officer." Sam says, and the boys head to the car.

"Pack your bags, we're headed to Wyoming." Dean growls as he somewhat aggressively opens the car door.

I look at Carlisle in confusion and rush after Dean. "What's in Wyoming?"

"Because while you were off galavanting around Lawrence, Sammy here had a vision."

Same looks at his brother beseechingly. "Dean come on. you said yourself that the demon children could have visions or powers that manifest later. You just have to trust me. He's going to  Casper, Wyoming. And it's his last stop before what ever is going down, goes down."
