I grabbed my phone and started texting Josh. I knew Kara well enough to know that she wasn't gonna reply to my messages if she was trying to run away.

She knew Charles would come to me first.

"What do you mean? What did you do?" Lando asked, he sounded annoyed, probably because Charles interrupted our time together.

Just when our problems vanished, someone else's problems were shoved in our faces.

"I did nothing" Charles shook his head. "But you know what we agreed on" he continued and looked up at me.

I kinda knew about it. She had to pretend to be his girlfriend and would receive money. I don't know how long she had to pretend, but I figured it was long over already.

I thought their agreement ended when they developed feelings for each other.

"What did you agree on?" Lando looked at the both of us confused. He probably thought I had something to do with this. "What the fuck is going on?"

"I offered her money to pretend to be my girlfriend" Charles admitted. Lando didn't know yet so he immediately looked at me. "And you knew that?"

I nodded. Unfortunately I did.

"Fuck Charles" Lando shook his head. "So you gave her the money and she took off?"

"No, we actually fell in love but then my ex showed up and.." he stopped explaining.

I sighed. And he broke her heart. She was my best friend, how did he expect me to pick his side?

"I will talk to her but don't expect me to ask her to forgive you"

Charles left soon after that. He knew he messed up, he definitely did.
Needless to say, Lando and I weren't in the mood to have sex anymore.

We just cuddled, probably because we wanted to show our love to each other.

"For once it isn't our drama" Lando laughed. He was making circles on my back with his fingers.

"No but unfortunately we are kinda in the middle of it" I chuckled. "Aren't we always?" He sighed.

And with that, we fell asleep, in each other arms. Why couldn't we be happy for once without any drama.

"So where is Kara?" I asked Josh. We were sitting outside the Mclaren hospitality in Brazil. I knew Kara flew here as well.

Josh put a picture on his stories with Kara's purse in the background. I recognized it because I was the one who gave it to her.

"Haven't you heard? Charles and her broke up, he cheated with his ex" yes I knew but I was gonna pretend as if I didn't, they didn't need to know that Charles came to my room, begging for me to talk to Kara.

"Will she come to Lando's birthday?"

Josh shrugged his shoulders. "I guess so, I'll force her if I have to"

"No one is forcing my baby to do anything" Lando said as he walked up to us and wrapped his arms around me from behind.

"Oh so Kara is your baby now?" I smirked and turned my face to him. "Oh, yeah didn't you know? Her and I are pretty close"

I pushed him away and laughed. "Oh really? Then I think I'll go and cuddle Charles, I think he needs it" I pretended to get up but he took a step closer and blocked my way.

"You sit your pretty ass down" he put his hand on the table, leaned over and looked at me. "You're mine"

"I am yours" I pressed my lips against his and kissed him passionately until Josh cleared his throat.

"Very cute and all, but I'm sitting here" Josh said as he crossed his arms. Lando looked at him, still leaning on the table. "You want a taste as well?"

Josh's face turned red immediately. Not the normal blush kinda red, but tomato red. He didn't know what to say at all.

Lando just chuckled and kissed my cheek before walking inside. "I'll see you tonight princess"

He was so handsome, I totally understood why Josh was getting red like that.

"You fancy my boyfriend?" I laughed as I looked at Josh. "It was just unexpected okay" he rolled his eyes.

He totally fancied Lando.
