I decided to go on a holiday with Kelly and Max anyway. I needed it and I would just do my own thing most of the time. They said they also invited other people so it wouldn't be weird for me to join them.
They rented a huge house, something I've never seen before. It had so many bedrooms, a pool, a big garden and it was right next to the beach.
I knew it was the right thing to come on this vacation.
After I got unpacked I walked downstairs to the garden where everyone was sitting.
I immediately smiled when I saw Kara and Charles sitting together and so did they.
"Oh my God, I didn't know you were coming" she said as she got up and wrapped her arms around me. We hugged for a couple of minutes, I almost started crying, that was how happy I was.
"I am so happy you're here" I mumbled. I knew Kelly probably persuaded her to come on this vacation.
"I think we should put our bikinis on and go to the beach" Kelly said as she walked up to us. We both nodded at the same time. I was definitely down for some sunbathing with the girls.

When we came back from the beach, there was someone sitting outside who I would recognize everywhere.
It was Lando, they invited Lando as well. Why didn't Kelly tell me that?
I knew it was the wrong thing to come on this vacation.
I looked at Kelly who immediately looked at me as well. "I-I didn't know. I promise you" she said. I believed her because the look on her face was genuine.
I sighed as I walked up to the table everyone was sitting at. Lando looked up at me and he didn't expect me to be here either.
I quickly looked around. He was alone, Lara didn't come with him. Did they break up? No I shouldn't get my hopes up.
I sat down next to him. I definitely wasn't gonna show him that I was surprised to see him here.
"So, you got invited as well" Lando said as he looked at me. "They practically begged me to come with them" I laughed as I grabbed something to eat.
Lando laughed as well. His laugh was something I missed.
He was looking a little better since last time I saw him. He still looked tired, but the dark circles weren't as visible anymore.
"Are you getting enough sleep?" I said as I grabbed a bottle of wine and poured it in my glass. "What do you mean? Do I look bad or something?" He chuckled.
He wasn't looking bad, he was still looking handsome. He always looked handsome but I was getting a bit worried.
"You're looking handsome, but I'm just wondering if you get enough of sleep" I said which made him smile a little.
"I just can't sleep lately, I don't know why" he shrugged it off.
I knew exactly why because I was having the same problem. I didn't want to go to sleep because I kept seeing him in my dreams.
"What is it today?" He said as he pointed at my tattoo. No one except for him asked me about that. "Probably a falling star" I said as I looked at him.
"What would you wish for though?" He asked. I took a sip from my wine. It was a stupid question to ask, he probably knew what I would wish for.
"Oh you know, 1000 euros would be nice" I chuckled. He shook his head laughing as he grabbed his phone.
"You're unbelievable" he mumbled.
This was gonna be a hard holiday if he was gonna be around all the time.
