"C'mon baby" I mumbled as I was biting my nails. Lando was doing great, he was actually fighting for his first win.

I've never been this nervous in my life. I really wanted him to win, he deserved it so much.

Lately I decided to watch quali and the race in his garage.
Red Bull didn't care and Mclaren actually liked it so it was a no brainer.

I sighed as Max crossed the finish line first. There was literally no chance in beating him.
I felt bad for Lando, I knew he must be so disappointed in himself.

Even though he did nothing wrong, he did everything right, but he was so close, his first win was so close.

I had to go back to the Red Bull hospitality, try to act as if I was happy that Max won, but they knew I wasn't happy.

At all.

I got dressed in a beautiful dress, my hair was up and I put a lot of effort on my makeup.
I wanted to look good for Lando, it was our first date since we got back together.

I was excited.

I sat down at the bar of the hotel. Lando was still getting ready because he had to stay a little longer at the paddock.

I didn't mind, I would have a little appetizer before our date.

I didn't have to wait very long though because only 20 minutes later he walked up to me.

He was dressed in all black, black pants, black button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

My favorite look on him, he knew that.

"You're awfully dressed up to be drinking alone" his eyes traveled over my body, just as the first time he caught me drinking alone in the bar.

"Wait you're dressed up for an actual date" he continued. It was cute how he still remembered one of our first conversations.

"Maybe you should worry less about me and more about your date" I answered with a smirk, showing him I also still remembered.

He smiled as he walked up to me and offered his hand. "That's exactly what I am planning to do" fuck he was so handsome.

"But I am gonna worry about both of them because you're my date" he said as I took his hand and walked with him.

I intertwined our fingers and looked at him. "Lucky me, at least you showed up"

"I will always show up for you" he said as he kissed my cheek. I thought I couldn't fall more for him, but I was so wrong.

I was still falling for him, but I knew he would catch me.

"So what do you have planned for us?"

"Don't expect something too special, I had to organize it in two days between qualifying and the race" it was cute to see how nervous he was. He wanted it to be perfect.

I didn't care what he planned for us, I was gonna enjoy it either way.

I chuckled a little as we walked out of the hotel. "It's gonna be special either way because I'm with you"

His face softened, but he was still nervous about it. I knew him too well, I knew when he was nervous.

A car was waiting for us so we got in and he immediately put his hand on my thigh.

"You look beautiful by the way" he said as he put his face in my neck. Little whispers like that made my heart jump.

I smiled as I put my hand on his. "And you look handsome, you always do"

We stopped in front of a tall building, the entrance was lit up by so many candles, I couldn't even count them.

I couldn't take my eyes off of it. It was beautiful, I never saw something like this. "We've arrived" Lando took me out of my thoughts.

He grabbed my hand and guided me inside, all the way to the top of the building.

It was a beautiful sky bar, with only one table, a lot of candles were placed all over the rooftop.

"Oh my God" I said as I put my hand in front of my mouth. I had no words, he left me speechless again.

"You said you loved stars" Lando said as he squeezed my hand. "This is the closest I can bring you to them"

We both looked up at the stars as I put my head on his shoulder.

This was definitely the best date I've ever had. He listened to me, he knew me, he saw me.

He loves me.
