Chapter Forty five-"Goodbye Dale"

I sat there till the sun went down no buddy bothered me I was just waiting for the shot to happen the sun how's gone down and I was sitting out here with my knife in my hands just in case if I have any walkers buddies I sniffed throwing my head back

They were doing it any minute now I new it was gonna happen I just wish it didn't how could I just blow off a man's life like that for my own benefit for our or benefit that's wrong I hate myself for even thinking this was the thing to do

I seen the fire in our camp from here they were all around it including Glenn I assumed it was so cold out here do I was waring Glenn's jacket that I took before coming out here"You okay"I looked up at saw Dale standing over me

"No they're gonna kill that kid"I said shaking my head"You don't agree"Dale said I shook my head"No I don't I should have said something it's to late now Right"I said looking up at him"Right this group it's broken"Dale said looking down tears in his eyes

"How do we do this just sit here"I threw my head up tears in my eyes"Glenns worried about you I told him to give you some space"I opened my eyes"Thank you I needed it I would have thought he would have came to find me"He nodded"He did try a few times"I smiled shaking my head"I love that man"

Dale nodded"at least your still the same person no matter what happens"I was thankful no matter how many people I lose I'm always the same I stood up"I better go find Glenn tell him I'm okay"He nodded slowly as I started to walk away but a scream had me turn around quickly

My eyes widen at what I saw"Dale!"I screamed as a walker was on top of him on the ground eating at him he was screaming so load"DALE!"I screamed even louder my hands were shaking as I ran up to him I was so sure the others heard him scream when I got up to him I stuck the knife into the head of the walker and pushed it off

It was already to late he was Bit I fell beside him tears in my eyes I out my hand on blood now on my hand"Dale!"I heard Andrea yell lights making are way over"OVER HERE HURRY"I sobbed out holding hid hand Daryl was the first to show up he croched down next to me

"HELP OVER HERE"Daryl yelled next to me"Whare!"Andrea yelled"HELP RUN"I was screaming at this point"Hang in there buddy"Dayrl whispered Dad and shane ran up to us next was Andrea dad croched down on the other side of us my hands were shaking

I looked up when I saw Glenn tears in my eyes"Listen to me listen to my voice all right just listen to me"Dad Saud putting his hands on Dale's face he was in pain if I would have just been paying attention Okay hold on now GET HERSHAL!"Dad yelled Daryl place a hand on my back"Its okay you can't get up"

I nodded and slowly got up from my spot but I stumbled"He needs blood we got to operate now"Dad said everything started to get blurry I looked back over at Glenn who was crying I ran up to him and hugged him tightly my hands shaking my head in his chest"Herhsal we need hershal!"Dad yelled

"Look at me"Andrea said holding his face"Dale we're gonna help we're here just hold on"I pulled away from  Glenn and looked down at Dale Glenns arm was still around my waist he was crying"what happened"I looked up at Hershal Who made his way over"What can we do"Rick asked as Hershal croched down

"Dale it's gonna be okay"Glenn said leaning over on his knees letting go of me I put my hand on his back tears in my eyes"Can we move him"Dad asked in a shaky voice"He won't make the trip"I sobbed shaking my head this was my fault I wasn't paying attention Dale was out there to check up on me

"You have to do the operation here Glenn take Avery and get back to the house!"Dad yelled standing up"Rick"I watched as Herhsal shook is head it was like I couldn't feel my legs I fell to the ground"NO!"I yelled shaking my head Glenn dropped down next to me holding me closer to him tears in his own eyes as he sobbed

"I'm sorry"I said shaking my head as Andrea sobbed"This is my fault"I cryed into Glenn's chest He was in so much pain he was groaning"Hes suffering do something!"Andrea yelled looking up at them dad held his gun out And I quickly looked away Glenn's arms were shaking around me on the ground

I looked down at the blood on my eyes my eyes went wide"No no no no no"I said over and over again I looked back over Daryl had took the gun from dad and croched down on his knee"I couldn't watch I couldn't"Im sorry"I sobbed as Glenn rubbed my head slowly"Im sorry"I said again with a shaky breathe

"Shh"Glenn shushed Tears in his own eyes sobbing Glenn lost Dale because of me we all last Dale because I wasn't paying attention what is wrong with me how could I do this"Sorry brother"I heard Daryl whisper I jumped when I heard the gunshot"NO!"I cryed why Dale why couldn't it have been me I deserve it this was on me
