Chapter 27: Leaving you behind

(Before we get started I just want you to know that this will be a special episode and 
probably be or not be short. Let me explain.
I, being really REALLY stupid, wasn't paying any attention to what I was doing so I got my finger stuck in a water bottle tap.
The hole was pretty small and I have no idea how I got my finger in, in the first place. After a while, I finally got it out and
JEEZ was my finger injured. So yeah, finger hurting, whole hand hurting ,for some reason, and am writing with my left hand.)

(Also feel free to make fun of
me because of this really silly thing)

Lightbulb P.O.V:

I was having a walk round the place
with the perfect day and weather. I really
wish Baxter had been brought here with me so we could be enjoying this very
moment together. Now that I think of it,
I hope Baxter is just fine. I did just leave them by themselves.
You know, I wish Painty was here
with me too. I did try and invite them for a walk to talk but Marshmallow, who
answered the door instead, said they weren't in the mood to deal with anyone.
Since Marshmallow is small, I saw right above her and saw Painty laying in bed, facing the wall. Oh if only I knew
what was wrong.

I would always try cheer anyone up
especially Painty. But Marshmallow said
I should try and not bother them right now and shut the door. Oh wait, that's why am
outside. I was gonna ask Test tube If she had a ladder so I could go through Paintys
window and talk to them since their roommate, marshmallow, definitely isn't gonna let me do that.

While wondering round, I spot Test Tube
going somewhere. Wow luck is on
my side after all! But something isn't right.
Test tube is going directly
towards Golf balls factory and she herself
said she will never step foot in there
since she will never help Golf ball ever again. Strange is'nt it?

I keep my distance and spy on her to see
what's up on her clock. As she goes down and I follow just a bit behind, I see her directing to the Portal. But to my surprise,
the silly grey ball isn't in sight. Now to
think of it, it is lunch time so she probably is up there getting food somewhere.
As I continue to follow I see her getting some material for... wait a second... is she fixing the Portal? On her own?! I
thought she got mad at the grey ball because of that. Guess all of us have a
... 'secret side'... haha silly Test tube, she
is just so mysteries. When I start slowing my pace I start hearing low footsteps
behind me. Oh sh... Shambers (yes that's a made up word), I guess I was too in my mind to realise someone is following
me!

I turn round as fast as I can only to see...
Painty? YEEEE!!! Wait why are they following me?

"Painty? Why are you following me?" I say in a low whisper
"I was almost gonna say the same thing until I see Test Tubes doing," they
said in a low tone, " I was told by Marshmallow you wanted to talk to me."

"Oh well I-" The sudden BANG caught
us both off guard.
"What was that?!" I ask nervously.

Painty pointed towards the Portal machine and I saw a green shiny portal open up.
It was the same one I saw back home.
I found myself get pulled in but strangely,
Painty stayed stuck on the ground. What?
No wait, we all got pulled in last time so..
why is it that they aren't? I felt the
pressure and the pulling get stronger.
"Lightbulb hold on!" Painty yelled at me and put out their hand.
I saw. I saw them getting pushed back.
Why is the portal pushing them back?
I took their hand but our grasp was already slipping. I heard the loud noises the Portal made originally the first time it took us but... when I looked at my surroundings, I only saw a few contestants coming in. Though Test tube was getting pushed.

Our grasp got weaker and I saw the
look on Paintbrushes eyes before...
Before the Portal pulled me in with extreme force.
The last thing I could remember was the single tear drop off Paintys eyes.
They are gone.
I left them behind...

I left Paintbrush behind.
