Often times you'll see young penguins standing on their parent's feet, standing snugly underneath them for warmth.

Denji looked down at the baby penguin plushie in his arms and hugged it a little tighter. He'd found it deep within a closet, and was ecstatic when you said he could have it.

The boy stood up off the couch and placed the penguin on his feet, but it didn't really feel right.

This penguin was too small!

You walked into the living room wearing your comfy clothes, not needing to wear an actually outfit since you didn't need to go anywhere.

Perfect!

"Dad, stay still!"

You did as the boy asked, albeit a little curious.

The boy carefully placed his feet on yours, making sure not to hurt you. (Or at least trying not too).

A satisfied expression rested on his face as he let himself be enveloped by your warm comfy clothes. So this is what it felt like to be a baby penguin.

"Denji? What're you doing?"

He looked up at you with a happy face,
"I'm being a baby penguin!"

You chuckled at his words, picking him up and kissing his cheek,
"I'm glad you got to experience it, but you're hurting your dad's feet,"

He little boy pouted, his plan to become a penguin being ruined.

"Say, how about I take you three to the aquarium tomorrow? That way you can see a penguin in real life!"

Denji gasped,
"Really?!"

You nodded with a smile, and the boy hugged your head tightly while thanking you, promptly hopping out of your arms to go tell his siblings the good news.

"Everyone buckled up?"
You asked, looking at your kids from the rear view mirror.

"Yeah!"
They all said in unison.

"WAIT!"
Denji yelled, almost making you honk your horn in shock.

"I forgot my penguin!"
He said in a distressed voice.

You pulled the plushie from the passenger seat,
"Don't worry Denji, I brought it with me,"

You handed him the plush, and he hugged it tightly.

You looked out your window to the woman who was seeing you off.

"Thanks for agreeing to watch Pochita and Nyanko while I'm out!"

She shook her head,
"It's no problem. Just make sure to hold up your end of the deal,"

You chuckled,
"I know, you'll be the first to get a taste of my plum wine once it finishes fermenting. Okay kids, say goodbye to Auntie Quanxi and the pets!"

The children all waved towards the window before you began to drive off towards the aquarium.
