Sometimes the pain of the past is too hard to ignore and End and Origin's mini vacation isn't all fun and games.

"Where is he? Where is my baby?! Why wont you tell me?"
"There was nothing we could do. It was far too late. His body was already dusting.."
"Error! Tell them they are wrong. Paperjam is fine! He just needs some rest is all. He will be better in no time"
"The tests all come back the same. His magic is strong but his body Is far too delicate to withstand that pressure and his SOUL is cracking under the strain. We just don't have the knowledge how to treat that. We are sorry for you loss"
"Why arent you correcting them, Error? Tell them they have the wrong child. You promised everything would be fine. Liar. Liar. LIAR! I hate you. I hate this multiverse. Everything deserves to burn! Don't touch me. I don't want to feel this. I don't want my paints. I WANT IT ALL GONE!"

AntiVoid
"....You are having heavy thoughts there, Origin. Come back to me, love. Dont get lost in that pretty head of yours"
End said gently as he brought a hand to stop Origin from taking the white paint, steadily staring into their cold almost dead looking eyelights without flinching before pulling his mate into his side and let them hide away from the world for as long as they needed.
The anniversary of that day was always hard, another reason he had called in the favour for that Dream as he knew Origin would otherwise hide all the pain inside them and likely blow up even worse later on. He spoke soft words to his mate, having chosen the most dead region of the AntiVoid for this exact reason a tad ironic statement but Error types tended to live here often and encouraged them to cry out all their grief.
Whoever thought that just because you didnt have a SOUL meant you were little more then 'a doll', 'a fake monster' were true idiots in his opinion, knowing first hand how untrue that was. Origins love for him and all their children wasn't fake no matter what some people said, even when they first met he knew there was more to them then that silly facade of idiot they enjoyed putting up.
Perhaps Origin didnt have a SOUL but they still had a personality, dreams and hopes with paints the main solution to help them express what they wanted to show for the world in a way that wouldn't unsettle the idiots. He would have been fine with his mate never drinking paints if thats what they truly wanted but only as long as it wasnt self destructive or detrimental to their health, he let his mate do what they wished.
"It hurts, End. Why does it still hurt?"
"I know, Origin. I know It does. Let it all out. Take as long as you need, im not going anywhere"
He said softly, the dead inflection to his mates voice making his SOUL clench in pain. He sat on the ground and pulled the smaller skeleton into his lap, the haunting sobs of a grieving parent almost echoing in the white space, monsters from far away feeling an echo of the pain even if they couldn't find the source.
The Error's in the AntiVoid were oddly morose for a few days after the experience, a yearly phenomenon that none truly understood no matter how much they searched for a reason.
Although, something new happened on the dreaded anniversary of the two monsters losing their first child. A rather familiar magic circled around the two mates, laying over them like a blanket in silent comfort, End letting out a disbelieving huff at feeling Star's magic.
