Author's Note: I'm sorry that this is so fast paced right now, but I promise that I have better ideas that will improve their relationship.
I know that I don't relationships that are rushed, especially for enemies to lovers, so I'll make sure to not rush it as much.
Hope you guys understand.

"I don't know why you are blaming me for this", Grayson says to me. I shake my head at him and say,"You ran out of my house before we could review the project and we missed a whole portion."
"You had the project. You should've looked at it before turning it in", he says walking to his seat leaving me to pick up my pace to catch up to him. I sat beside him,"You said we were done!"
"I had to go home in a rush so I'm sorry, okay?", he says his light hair falling into his eye again. I reach over and move his hair away from his eye again and Grayson blows his breath on my arm this time forced. I retract my hand and scowl at him,"You need a haircut."
"The girls love it", he says, grabbing a pencil and starting to copy the board.
"I'm sure they do", I say with humor and when I look over at him later in the class, I see that he has pushed the hair out of his eye. He catches me looking and raises his eyebrow. I shake my head and had turned back to the book I was reading.
"Did everything work out at home?", I ask him as we both walk out of the classroom together.
"It was fine", he says with a sharp tone and I flinch. Grayson and I have a long like of arguments and competitions but he has never been short with me even when I yelled at him multiple amount of times. He has always kept his cool so this is a suprise to me.
I can't figure him out, this came out of nowhere. But I do know that I'm not indulging in his behavior though.
"You know what Grayson? I'm sorry I even asked", I say walking ahead of him,"I was trying to act civil and you obviously, I don't know have your own issues."
"Julie, I–"
"Save it, I'll see you later."
I leave him there in the middle of the hallway and walk into my classroom trying to keep my sadness at bay. I've never seen Grayson so hostile with me, so abrupt. He went from joking with me to snapping at me. I knew I hit a nerve, but which one I didn't know.
Who did know?
Grayson probably had a lot of nerves.

I hear his voice behind me but I ignore him as I head toward my beat up car. My parents refused to trade it in for a new one, claiming that their old one works just as fine. Right, it breaking down every few weeks was fine. "Juliette please", he says catching up to me. He puts a hand on my arm and I turn around. I take a deep breath in and tell myself that I don't care what he has to say.
"I'm sorry, okay? It was not a good day", he says attempting to make eye contact with me but I keep my eye trained on his hair.
"It's fine", I say waving off his apology. He sighs and steps closer to me,"I swear I didn't mean it. I just had a hard day."
I met his eye and I let out a breath. "Okay. It's fine." I'm not sure if it's fine, but I let it go. He touches the back of my hand and says,"You sure?"
"I'm sure", I say stepping back,"I just like to overreact sometimes."
"No, you didn't", he says and I give him a small smile.
