"Hey baby" Rico mother greets me as I walk in. "Hey mama." I hug her and greet everyone else. "How's my favorite daughter in law?" She greets Keysha. "Where's my other son?" She asks Rico hugging him. "He had to go out of town." Rico responds. We all go sit in the living room. "I hear someone has snatched my other son up." She says looking directly at me. I smile. We sit around and talk for the rest of the night talking and eating. She tells us stories of Rico when he was younger, some time when all 3 of use to get in some trouble, back in the day. We make it back to Rico's house and it's 2 am. "You think I should call Jr.? It's pretty late?" I ask Keysha. "He told you to call him right?" "Yeah he did." "Well gone and cake with yo boo." I change into my night clothes and lay on the bed. I call him, it rung all the way through, and I almost hung up then he answered. "Hello?" He whispers. "Hey." "What's up baby?"
