"Ma it's been crazy like your son is driving home insane I love that boy with all my heart believe me when I say it but this is crazy " I say talking to Jr mom on FaceTime. "I don't know what my son think he doing but he need to get it together !" Ms.Sharon says. I always had a close bond with his mother and she loves me like her own. "I'm saying the same thing I don't know he want a little happy family with me and Cay involved talking about some he love us both... Your son think he in Jr world like either one of us about to deal with that type of stuff " I say.

"Don't worry I'll get him straight , where my son at anyway...?". "He's with Cay in the cabins for New Years we ain't really talking like that after what happen at the mall he went off and we on bad terms... should I call and say happy New Years ?" I ask. "It'll be nice he is still my son and I want yall back together so do ya little magic Taty!" Ms. Sharon says in her accent. They all got that cute accent I love it when Jr talks certain words it come out more.

Getting off the phone with Ms.Sharon I get dress and go to Minnie's New Years party. I invited Chris as my little date so he should be here soon to get me. I put the final touch on my make up and hair. My phone starts vibrating its Chris , he tells me he's outside. I grab my purse and go downstairs.

"Damn you look good" Chris says leaning against the passenger side. I laugh "Thank you" I hug him. "Ready for tonight?" He ask. "Yup can't wait a new year hopefully that means new exciting things happen" I say. Chris opens the car door for me I peep him looking at my ass while I get in the car.

"Minnie!" I yell going inside her house. She decorated he places beautifully and of course he food was smelling good. "Baby!" She says running up to me. "Hey girly! This is Chris my date , Chris this is my best friend Minnie" I say. They shake hands and exchange smiles. "Come everyone out back I got the stuff set up , I know yo fat ass hungry Taty" Minnie says laughing. I playfully roll my eyes "Whatever! But niggas like my ass doe" I say doing a little spin. "You right about that" Chris says. Me and Minnie bust out laughing.

Me and Chris chilling watching everyone else act a fool getting drunk as a skunk its funny . "So what's up with you and Jr?" Chris ask. "I don't know what we're doing at this point , but he's with his baby mama and I'm with you so we both chilling" I say. "Well I'll pick up the pieces he dropped Taty if our give me the chances I ain't trying to rush you we can take it slow and just now I'm your future baby daddy" Chris says. I laugh real hard almost spilling my drink. "I'm sorry that was funny but thanks Chris and yeah it's cool we can take it slow" I say smiling. Being with Chris at this moment felt right I wasn't stressing over Jr and his baby mama i was actual thinking about Tatyanna for once.

"Alright yall it's almost Midnight gather around !" Minnie says. We all watch the countdown on her TV outside. "5 , 4 , 3 , 2 , 1! Happy New Years !!!!" We all scream. Chris turns me around and just kisses me ,I kiss him back. Before breaking the kids he pecks me on my lips. "That's how it's done" Chris says dancing. "Your stupid " I say laughing. "Happy NewYears girly" Minnie says hugging me. "Thanks boo!" I say. I look at my phone and the picture of me and Jr on my lock screen makes me miss him a little. "Excuse me guys I'm going to the bathroom" I say getting up.

I dial his number and he answers on he second ring. "Hey Jr" I say smiling. gs, "What's up Taty?" He says in that accent . "Just calling to say Happy New Years and tell Cay I said the same". Happy New Year To you too baby.... Cay Taty said Happy New Year" I hear him yell. "Tell her I said Happy New Year To Her Too." Cay loud ass yells. "You heard that" he ask. "Of course I heard that , did your mom call you?" I ask. "Hell yeah I did she cussed my ass out". "You deserve that one Jr , But I love you I really do Jr no matter if we aren't together" I say. "Yeah I guess.... I love you too Taty" Jr says before hanging up.

I join Chris and then out back and half of them in the pool. "Why they in the pool, the hell did I miss" I ask. "I'm not sure what happen but can you swim?" Chris ask. "Yes I can.... why?" I ask looking at him. "Just cause". Chris moves closer to me and pick me up. "Chris no! Put me down please! I say trying to fight my way out. I was too late he jumped in. "I hate you" I say laughing.

The rest of the night goes smoothly Chris and I really had a great time regardless of the fact I got thrown in the pool. I wish Jr the best and maybe one day I'll be able to move on fully for now I'm taking baby steps.
