"DJ I said stop, I'm finna take yo iPad in a minute" DJ was purposely turning his volume up while watching yt
I was tryna have a conversation on the phone so I asked him to turn it down but he thought it was a joke
"Hold on Mark" I muted the phone sitting it down and walked over to DJ
I grabbed his iPad and sat it on the tv stand where he couldn't reach
"No I'm sorry!" He tried to reach for it
"Tired of yo lil ass go play wit some toys or some!" I pointed to his toy room and he ran in there
"Babe, now why you yelling at him" Nini came through the door with some groceries
"Cause he don't listen and I'm tryna handle some business" I walked back over to the kitchen to grab my phone
"You don't listen but you don't catch me yelling at you" she started putting the groceries away
"You right, imma let him cool down then take him to get a play station or some" I shrugged and she shook her head holding the bridge of her nose

"Nothing baby, any word on Paris?" Paris had been in the hospital for a few weeks now which was why I had that bad ass boy in the first place
When Dame shot her he nicked her spine and shot her in her leg. She been in a coma since she came out of surgery
Her leg got infected and almost killed her, they don't know if she paralyzed or not and won't till she wake up. It's a waiting game right now
Dame didn't really want to kill her cause if he wanted her dead he would've shot her airways or some shit like that
"Nah, her infection gone but nothing other then that" I shrugged
"Welp at least we can give DJ a since of normalcy until she's better" Nini wrapped her arms around my neck making me peck her lips
"Maybe I can make another DJ while she out my business" I smacked her ass making her laugh
"Nope, after the way she been acting towards A'Vayah and Damien I'm good baby" she said and a few seconds later DJ ran in between us so I picked him up
"You wanna go get some shoes" I asked and he nodded
"Ight lemme finish this then I'll take ya" I told him then handed him over to Journiiee picking up my phone and taking it off mute
"Ight Mark, like I was saying product ain been moving on O'block can you explain to me wh—" I was cut off by my front windows being shattered
Next thing I knew I heard gun shots and saw bullets flying right through my house
Hovering over DJ and Nini I panicked, grabbing my gun and went to the garage door to look out the windows in our Garage seeing Juice and with 3 other cars behind him
I texted my pops letting him know what was going on and he sent out a 402 text
402 means we was getting crossed by an allied member someone we treated as our own
I waited for the bullets to stop before I checked on Nini and DJ they was good so I got in the car and drove them to my pops crib
On the way there I called dame
"Fuck you want me to do Dom? You did that to yourself you knew shooting at the nigga was gone raise hell and did it anyway. Way I see it he ain got no beef wit nobody else just you. I mean he did only shoot yo crib up and he met wit pops earlier so if he wanted pop dead he would've been dead" Dame told me
"Nigga fuck you" I hung up the phone then looked at Journiiee who was holding DJ as he cried
He was scared, hell I was scared I thought I was finna either lose my girl or lose my son
I ain wanna lose either one of them. Fuck did I do?
