"You have fun at daddy's" Vayah asked Ky as she was putting him in the car

He shook his head eating on the snow cone he had just got since they ended up meeting at the mall

"K all set" she handed him his eye pad gave him a kiss on the cheek and shut the door turning to Dame

"What you all smiley for" he asked handing her his shoes

"Just happy my baby had fun" she shrugged and he nodded

"Ight I wanna talk about this drop off and pick up situation when it come to school" dame said and she leaned against the car

"School is about to be out in like a month, why not worry about that next school year" she asked slightly confused where this was coming from

"I mean we don't have to enforce it until then but I'd like to at least have a agreement. I leave the dealership around the time he get out and you be having clients sometimes late or be on the other side of town. Just tryna make it easier for both of us" he said with all sincerity in his voice

"Ummm ok, well he stay with you Friday thru Monday when summer starts so we can keep that going, you just pick him up from school on Fridays and drop him off on Monday morning then he'll stay with me and Wednesday can be a whoever can make it day" A'Vayah shrugged and he nodded liking the idea

"Oh and I heard bout yo boy" he smiled and A'Vayah look at him confused

"What you talking about" she leaned her head to the side

"You and I know damn well Alexis can't hold water fa shit" dame replied and it still didn't click in A'Vayah's head leaving her staring at him blankly

"Lightskin, tatted up, met him at target" dame said telling her basically everything he knew

"Oh Tray" she said as it clicked and he nodded

"Yea tray" he looked down at her

"Sound like you jealous" she joked

"Should I be?" A'Vayah shrugged lifting her eyebrows

"I know one thing, he bet not be around my son until we have a understanding" dame kept it real and respectful he didn't care if A'Vayah dated I mean he did but it was nothing he could do about it

She didn't trust him anymore and while he was doing everything in his power to regain that trust he knew deep down she wasn't gone wait for him

"Don't do that, you know I respect you as a father too much to do some grimy shit like that. Plus it's not even like that right now we just getting to know each other and I only see him when I don't have Ky" A'Vayah told him being serious making sure dame knew the truth

"Ight whatever, imma see yall at Friday. Also what time his party so my folks can pull through wanna make sure I got all the right information before I send it out" Damien pulled out his phone going to his calendar

"Graduation is at 1 shouldn't last longer then a hour his party is at 2:30 at the Airbnb I sent you the one close to the Lego place" Dame nodded putting it all in his notes

"Alright see yall Friday and I'll be sure to get them shoes by the 15th so he'll have em for the 17th" he gave Vee a side hug and kissed her forehead as always

While they weren't together they were still best friends and wanted the best for each other always

"You ready to go" Vee got in her car backing out of her parking spot to my sleep with his iPad playing the movie he was watching

She shook her head smiling and drove listening to a playlist mix of Sinead Harnett, Sabrina Claudio, Lucky Daye, and many other artist until she made it to their house

She grabbed both of their things then picked up ky and went indie laying him down in his bed to finish his nap

She was hungry so she decided to take out some steak, mash potatoes and ky's favorite vegetable broccoli and started playing music on her Alexa As she began cooking

"Hello" she answered the FaceTime call sitting up her phone and going back to going

"You mad at me?" Lexi asked and avayh eyed her

"You told my business that's not even business to be telling yet" she replied

"Ok so you like idgaf mad but you still mad cause it's the principal" A'Vayah put her head in her hands laughing at Lexi then lifted her head up shaking it as she went back to making the mash potatoes

"I know you can't do shit with me and that's why you love me" Lexi joked and A'Vayah laughed

"Mama" Meera A'Vayah's good baby said grabbing the phone

"Hi my baby" meera smiled waving

"Nymeera give me my phone" Lexi said not being able to reach it

"Run baby run!" Vee said as Meera took off into the other room

A'Vayah  laughed as she watched her friend struggle

"Really" Lexi mugged her through the phone holding her baby in her other arm and going back to the bed

"What can I say I'm the momma she like" Vee shrugged

"Ooo u irk a nerve I can't wait till u get dicked down and sat down by one of the two men in your life if not both" Lexi said leaving bee in shock and her mouth open

"What" Lexi said laughing

"Your foul" the friends continued to laugh
