As the event started everyone was one edge from D2 to their connects or business partners to his kids

All nervous and hopeful that he would or wouldn't pick them

"Good evening and welcome to the 3rd Annual Warner Crowning. My Wife Vanessa, our Kids and I would like to thank you all for coming out. Today is a new chapter for the entire organization and with that I say to my children always lead strong and with dignity, I've made mistakes I wish I could get back. I hope that I have and will continue to inspire and train you to be better then I ever was and I am. To WB" D2 made his opening speech as everyone gathered in the ballroom

"WB" everyone said and clinked their glasses then continued to mingle

"A'Vayah you look beautiful" Vanessa told her as  her and her husband walked over to the couple

"Thank you momma V, you look just as fine" they hugged and giggled at their comments

"A'Vayah it's nice to see you" Donald spoke shocking the entire group

"Good to see you" she kept it short and sweet as things began to grow awkward

Meanwhile Daja, Crew, Drew, Ayanna and Tyanna were in the process of sneaking a bottle of Vodka out of D2's wine cellar and sharing it amongst themselves

"I really can't believe yall grew up in this" Daja told her siblings

"We can't believe you didn't" they said in unison

"Look like D2 really did have his favorites" Crew mumbled referring to Daja and Damien

"Don't do that now, my momma and D2 had a complicated relationship I always knew he was a random dude my momma was fucking but not that he was my father" She told them honestly

"Damn that Nigga really had 5 women at once shit is crazy" Drew added

"Yea he broke it off with my mom when we were like 12" Ayanna spoke

"I was around the same age, maybe that's when he finally stopped cheating on Vanessa"

"The decision is final don't argue with me on this" D2 spoke

"Pop I think you really need to rethink this- I've made up my mind"

"Cmon D2 just think on Daja again nothing is final until tonight" Banks tried to convince him yet again

"N- Honey just think about it the night isn't over, I honestly don't think Dom is the best fit" Vannessa jumped in as an attempt to persuade her husband

"I'm done discussing this Dom is the winner now Dame either you to your mother will announce it. Please excuse me" he walked out leaving the 3 of them in a disappointed mood

Donald knew that his decision was wrong but it was the easiest he wasn't ready to risks training Daja or anyone else

Dom was next in line anyway and it would be better for him to take over was what he was trying to tell himself

Hearing his family go against his thoughts made him tripple think

"Again I'd like to thank everyone for coming, now I'm going to hand things over to my sons as he passes on the crown" Donald took a step back allowing Damien to take control

D2 felt in his spirits that Dame would go against his wishes but it was a risks he was also willing to take

"First I'd like to thank my family for giving me a great opportunity but unfortunately I will not be taking the thrown for the sake of my own family that I am creating" he winked at A'Vayah as she stood in the crowd next to Camilla, Gio, and Daja

"Next I'd like to say while still in shock. I'm glad to call yall my siblings, you been going hard since day one never gave up and stayed loyal even after everything trust and believe this decision was hard but it's also nothing personal"

"Pops, mom, banks and myself have all talked and came to a decision as a collective. As you all know Banks was apart of the conversations due to being my right hand man and no longer wanting the thrown as well"

"With that being said I'd like to announce our new WB boss" the room grew quiet everyone was one edge

"Congrats Daja, we've decided as a collective that you would be best for the thrown. But as for now Dom will take over until your training is over. Once your training is complete you will settle into your new lifestyle" D2 knew that his son would figure a way to ease both of their minds and it was honestly a smart idea

There's no telling how long training would take with Daja this way Dom gets his way and D2 gets a chance to right a wrong

"You'll receive your WB tattoo and bank account within the week enjoy everybody" Dame gave her her crown and hugged her as Daja stood in shock while the rest of their siblings had slight envy towards her

Why didn't they asks her again before making the final decision?
